Asked to create a British animal floral, the Mini Boden print team headed off to Hackney City Farm for a wildlife drawing class. ‘We sat in a row with rabbits jumping around us,’ Lucy says. ‘We were helped to look closely at them and notice things we don't normally – not easy when they're moving.’ Back at the studio, the team scanned and digitally refined their rough sketches.

The floral background had started off with very bold shapes, but ended up influenced by the more detailed style of a piece of vintage wallpaper from Paris. ‘The choice of bunny was a process of seeing which shapes looked nice with the flowers and other elements,’ Lucy explains. ‘We'd decided to include butterflies, birds and insects too, so I drew those in-house.’ Everything in the print was given an outline for a retro feel.
