This was small - as in PERFECT FIT! I normally wear a 12, so sent it back for a 14 which I am sure will be fine. If I weren't so busty it might have been fine. The teal was gorgeous, and I can't wait to get the 14!

The dress is form fitting and very flattering. The fabric has a "heavy" hand to it so doesn't show lines.

Nice heft to the material, a thick, slightly textured ponte knit with some stretch in it. I had to size up, which I have never never done in a Boden dress before, it;'s a little large but the other was too tight. Loved the green so much I tried ordered it in the other colors, but the orange was just too intense for me and the navy too normal to make up for the slightly bulky fit.

This dress is easy to throw on for a casual day at work. it's very simple, but, you can dress it up with jewelry.

Great fabric and cut. I am 5'4" and bought the regular size(not petite). The length is great for work.

No ironing. Yay!

The turquoise dress color is slightly lighter and more green than the image.

The side zipper gets a bit stuck near the rib cage.

Still, it's a great work dress and could be worn for dressier occasions.

If the color were a true turquoise and the zipper were smoother, it would be a perfect 5 stars.

Love this dress! Beautiful (green) color, great fit on me (5'7'', 145, curvy). Can dress it up or down and can easily transition between seasons!

I really wanted this dress to fit! it hugged my upper body really nicely (almost actually too small), but the hem line fell to short for me to wear to the office, which is what I was looking for. I also felt it hugged my rear a bit too much for a professional setting. I am muscularly built (5' 7" and 142 lb), so perhaps for a more slender frame this dress would work. I recommend ordering the long size. The fabric is thick and stretchy - very comfortable. Wish it worked for me.

I liked the look of this dress but it was not a great fit. Very snug in the bust (and that never happens!). Fitted through torso and upper waist but lines were slightly off. Red color was great so disappointed that fit was not quite right. DId not try to the next size up as it would have been too big, I think. Sending it back but will try something else. I love Boden dresses!

I bought this in the red color, and the shade was lovely. It's got enough orange/coral in it to work beautifully in warm weather, but it's bold enough to stand on it's own all year.

I love love loved the sleeves on this dress. I have thick arms, and the sleeves were incredibly slimming.

Unfortunately, the tummy area of this dress was just not flattering. I'm an apple shape, around a size 10-12 US, and this gave me that dreaded illusion of having a softball sized belly button. It just didn't hang right on my waist. And with a color this bright, you will get noticed and I didn't want to get noticed for the wrong thing. Really, really sad. If you're more of a pear shape or a ruler shape, this might be a perfect dress for you.

Well-made with a little stretch (but heavy enough to not cling) this dress works well for countless occasions. I bought the red and then picked up the navy as a quieter option. The band in the middle does not give very much on these dresses, and it does seem tighter on the navy one. Odd, but just garment variation I suppose. Glad I picked up both - I will get lots of use out of them.
