Purchased a 13-14 for my petite, but curvy, 14 year old in ink. love the color and print, but its going back because it wont stay up! Daughter is 5'1" and 93 pounds. based on a waist measurement she would be a size 8! I'm hoping the 11-12 will at least stay on her hips and still be long enough? Perfect with a T-shirt or dressing up a bit more, especially if she's going someplace where she needs to be a bit more modest--skirts from the usual suspects at the mall can be very short.

Bought the aqua and orange sailboat print--adorable. The skirt can sit at the waist or lower--depending on the look you want. Either way is very comfortable and cute! I bought the striped top in vitamin green and white and a vitamin green polo. This skirt looks best with a no fuss knit top as oposed to a blouse or woven fabric top. The only thing that would make it better is pockets on the sides. The skirt is surprisingly flattering and not bulky at all--it's as if the hte skirt knows how to flatter!

My 12 year old daughter and I picked out the ink batik rose skirt. When it arrived, the color wasn't what she wanted(thought it would be more blue than purple) so we returned it for the light chambray. I feared it would look like a uniform - so plain but it was anything but! The fabric has a nice textured look and definition to the color. The fit is perfect and style is cute.

I was pleasently supprised by this dress, I was really afraid it would be short but it was the perfect length. It falls just above the knee and is very comfortable. I got it in the ballet summer pink, I dance so i guess the name really appealed to me. my only complaint is that the waist band is a little tight so pulling it up is a little hard but it streaches a little so i think it will be okay.
