Affiliate eligibility criteria

Though we'd love to welcome everyone with open arms, it's just not possible. There are so many websites out there and some just aren't appropriate.

Checking your eligibility to become a Boden affiliate is a two-stage process.

Step 1: Affiliate screening

First, you need to apply with Commission Junction. They will then screen you to make sure you are able to join their network.

Affiliate screening saves a lot of time and resources as only applicants that pass this initial screening will be able to apply for the Boden programme. Please note that all applications are screened based on the profile submitted when registering with Commission Junction.

Screening ensures your website is:

Aesthetically pleasing and designed to a decent standard
Free from any content which maybe deemed offensive or pornographic

Passing this stage will mean you are eligible to join the Commission Junction network. It does not necessarily mean you qualify to become a Boden affiliate.

Step 2: Boden approval

To be accepted as a Boden affiliate your website must:

Pass the affiliate screening
Have an apparel category

The following types of site are acceptable:

USA sites
Coupon/Deal sites
Search Engines
Homepages and Personal websites
Sites that contain downloadable software components

The following types of site are not acceptable:

Sites under construction.
Competitor web sites (Gap, Banana Republic, Anthropologie, Hannah Andersson, etc).
International sites
Sites that promote, contain, or link to sexually explicit or graphic materials and/or language
Sites that promote violence.
Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
Sites that promote illegal activities and substances.
Sites that contain any libellous, defamatory or disparaging materials.
Sites that contain material that is defamatory, fraudulent, or harassing to us or any third party.
Sites that have a clear stated mission that is in part to support religious or politically active causes, as represented on the homepage or key landing pages.

We try to respond to approval requests within 48 hours - but we do receive a high volume of applications every day. If you have not heard from us within 48 hours or have questions concerning our program, please email us at bodenusa@cj.com and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Please note that if an affiliate fails to meet the terms of our agreement we may remove them at any time.
