I purchased this shirt in both the size 6 and 8 because one of the colors I wanted was sold out in the 6 (my typical Boden top size). I do prefer the length of the size 8 shirt- especially as the bottom edge of the top is longer in the the middle and higher at the sides, but both the 6 and the 8 fit me well (the 8 is looser overall, but it does not look sloppy). For reference, I am 5'7" about 127 lb, with a 34c bust and 27" waist. Overall, this is a great basic piece!

These are lighter weight than the classic sailor shirt and I love them! The milling on the cotton is wonderful and the slender fit is perfect for me :o)

I would give this top 10 stars if I could. I love Boden's striped Breton tops, and feel they've improved the design this year with the longer length and curved hem. My older tops have been worn over and over and are holding up very well, and I know these new ones will too. This time I bought the citron and the navy. Choosing my colors was hard, and I may break down and buy more! I wear them all the time. Yesterday I wore the citron one under a navy blazer with the sleeves scrunched up and a pair of jeans. They fit true to size. I wear a size 2 in Boden (I'm 32B with a 26" waist) and the fit is spot on but with plenty of room. The bateau neckline is super flattering. Love, love, love! Boden--If you are listening, I would also love a cap sleeved version of this top. I tried the short sleeved version you offer, but the first stripe hits me right at mid-bust and doesn't flatter. How about one in all-over stripes like the long sleeve version??? Please???

I have been searching for a white and navy shirt striped for months. I finally came across the Stripy Breton and I love it! I love wearing it with my jeans , chinos and shorts!
