I have this in every color and wear all but the white on their own and as a layering piece. The white is a bit too see through to wear on it's own. I love the fit-snug in all the right places. The fabric is wonderfully soft against the skin. The arms are nice and snug for layering under things without bunching up, also makes your arms look great when not layering. If Boden continues to make this, I will continue to keep it in my wardrobe.

I bought three of these last season and I'm back for more! Everyone was right: You should go up one size. The arms are just a bit short for those of us with somewhat long limbs. Other than that, they are perfect layering pieces under sweaters and LS shirts. My favorite is to have one under one of my many crinkle jersey shirts--roll up the sleeves of that shirt and have this peek out. So cute--and warm and comfy in winter! Just wish I could dry it in the dryer (hence the "4" rating). One more thing: Can we PLEASE make a short-sleeved version??? Please, please, please???

I love this tee. It runs a bit small, but if you are wearing it under a sweater it's nice because it sits right against your skin and doesn't bunch up. If you want to wear it by itself I suggest one size up.

I bought this for layering because my arms are big and a normal tee can be just enough to restrict my arm movements under other clothes. I was worried that this would be to thin, tear easily or be a bit sheer....it's none of those. I am surprised how thin it is but yet substantial so that I don't have to be gentle with it because I'm afraid of damaging it. I also am surprised that it isn't shear at all! I love it and am shocked no one has made such a good quality basic piece before. I recommend it.

I was really excited to get this after reading all the reviews but I was slightly disappointed when I got the product and tried it on. It's very see-through and very thin. I ordered the shirt in a size 6 in white. I'm 5'6" and 122 lbs. I normally wear a size 4 or 6 with general brands and with Boden, I've realized that I fit into a size 6 because I have broad shoulders and long arms. I felt like this shirt was really tight and you can literally see every inch of your figure.
I think it would be great as a layering tee but you can't really wear it with a cardigan or jacket without exposing your bra. I even wore a camisole underneath it to see how it would look and it looked pretty bad. I think it's really only good for something to wear underneath sweaters to help you keep warm.
Maybe the other colors would be better but white was just not right for me. I should've probably went up a size because I didn't feel comfortable wearing something so tight but I don't think this will fit with the rest of my wardrobe so I will be returning it. So sad because I was really hoping it would be a good fit!
