A lovely tee, but you need an under layer or is otherwise "nipple-ish". I just love linen and am very happy that Boden has so many linen options.

This is NOT my favorite Boden top. I ordered it in Greengage and the color is nice, kind of golden green. However, the Y sewn at the top isn't even and looks sloppy, and the top is so sheer you need to wear a cami under it - not ideal for warmer weather. I also don't love the fit. I almost sent it back, but will make it work with a scarf at the neck to cover the Y.

Wore the white shirt over a bright pink tank and skinny jeans and I felt chic and comfortable all day. The shirt is sheer so I will be using it as a layering piece, but it is light and cool because it's 100% linen.
The fabric drapes beautifully and the fit is loose enough to be breezy but fitted enough to look polished.
Washed it according to instructions and it held up well.

When I first tried on this shirt, it seemed like a great casual option. I got the greengage color which was an unusual addition to my wardrobe and went great with a pair of jeans and a black and white scarf. The shirt was a fun change from a standard cotton jersey, with a great texture and slight sheen. Unfortunately, I did not read the care instructions and it did not survive the first washing. I treated it as a casual shirt and washed and dried it with my other casual clothing. The shirt shrunk significantly and lost its shape. I wore it once but it looks like I've been wearing it for 5 years. I actually think I may donate it now. I have lots of clothes that I hand wash and dry flat, so I don't mind doing that in general. But I don't think I want to do that work for a casual shirt like this. I was planning on getting another color, but I've changed my mind. If you do buy this, plan to treat it like a delicate or size up to accommodate any shrinkage. I am 5'4" and weigh 125. I ordered a size 4.

I love this shirt! It is comfortable and has a great shape. The white is a bit see-through. I would like to get more colors, since it is a very handy and stylish summer shirt!

Great shirt to layer on over a tank top-- I bought white. Very casual

5'4", 130ishlbs, 35.5(28FF)x26x37. I bought these in a 4R.
Fit is great. Slouchy cute. They're not over-sized but they're not fitted either. They hit that perfect cool and casual mark. The sleeves are snugger on me than on the model. I don't have large arms, but I am a bit muscley. I wouldn't want to size up to fix it though. They aren't tight and linen knits stretch in my experience.
The linen is nubby and a little rough. It feels natural and I love it. It is thin and I found both colors to be sheer. This is fine as I fully expected that. Obviously the white is more transparent than the blue. You could get away with only nude undergarments in the blue, but you absolutely need a tank in the white.
The shirt seems well made, but it also seems delicate and easily snagged. So, just be careful.
I love them and am excited to add them to my summer linen collection.

This shirt will be nice in the summer for wearing over tanks to add a little bit of protection from the sun or as a beach coverup. The white is a little sheer, fyi. It has a relaxed fit and a nice feel to the material (linen).

Love this for the coastal NC climate. Thin and cool, but with a sleeve, very nice. I bought two, both size 10, dark blue and quartz. Blue was wonderful, but quartz seemed a whole size smaller. The shaping on the quartz was wonderful but I wanted it to be loose and just hang, so that one went back. I also bought the lightweight layering tank and it works wonderfully under it if you want that extra layer. I don't like the clingy feel of most camisoles, and I don't care for camisole straps in general, so the thin tank works great for me as a body skimming under layer that isn't too snug to the body. The two loose layers and the two fabrics work great together, not grippy. The blue color isn't too sheer to wear alone with a grey bra. Grey is a great foundation color and works much like nude works under lighter colors, if that makes sense.
