comes up too high on stomach for what I was hoping for...with the tankini top, it really seems like a one piece

I love the fit but I just wish the top would come so I can see the whole picture. On backorder...The colors are so much fun and that's what summer is what it's about! FUN! fun suit (bottom) so far...

Bought these to match with the tankini top, inky blue dot. I found they ran true to size (my usual Boden 6) and are very comfortable. However, be warned that the dots will get bigger as the bottoms stretch to fit you. I tried the size up to see if that would be better, but they were a bit droopy. I guess if you want them to stay on, they have to stretch a bit and if they stretch, well, the dots have to stretch with them. I liked the dots better than the stripes and decided that it wasn't all that bad anyhow. I mean, who is really looking at the dots on the suit of a middle-age woman? I like them and feel good in them so that's that.

This is one of the many swimwear products that I have purchased from boden, and I am extremely happy with all of them.

I thought this would make a great suit with good coverage. Unfortunately the stripes made me look huge. Not flattering.

I chose these bottoms to go with a top I already have. I like the idea of the boy short bathing suit with the classic top. Reminds me of a 1950's movie star. Since I am in my 40's I feel that these bottoms are more appropriate for me.

They fit snug but don't cut in where you don't want!

I have only worn them once since it's still Winter... they seem like they will last a long time.

Ok, here's the thing, I really really want to love this set.
I really wanted the blue, dots or stripes, but I needed it rather fast and there's a wait on that color. So I liked the red and got it.
Upon opening, the color is very cute. The olive dots aren't my favorite, but definitely still cute.
I put it on and the quality was fantastic.
However, it runs really big! I am 5'11" in between a 12 and 14, usually on the larger size. I ordered 14 because you do not want your bathing suit too tight.
Well, if I loved it I would need to exchange it for a 10. It's that big.
That being said, I think I'm going to just return it, not exchange. The top is adorable and I love the way it's cut, but the hipster bottoms are more like granny panty than hipster and I just don't feel like I can pull off the bikini bottoms.
