I read the reviews, so ordered this in a size 4. In skirts, I usually wear a 0, sometimes a 2, so I thought the 4 would work well. It was still too tight in waist. The fabric was very nice. I didn't order another size higher because I thought it would be too full on me since it is already a full skirt.

I love this skirt. I ordered the 8 long originally but it was a little big in the waist for where I wanted it to sit on my waist so I ordered the 6 long and it was perfect. It fits perfectly around my waist and hits perfect right below my knee. It is a great skirt that I can wear all year round.

This skirt is really cute. I purchased the black/white polka dot. I agree with others it is a tad small but I won't switch sizes. I did get my regular jean/pant size. This is a cute skirt, and I have a feeling it will be paired with many items in my closet!

a cute skirt with pockets - yay! perfect for me for work. don't have to wear spanx - yay! i'm normally a 12 in the waist and a 14 in the hips and the 12 was too big all over - so i'm reordering in a 10 and crossing fingers it fits.

This is a charming skirt at a cute, non-frumpy length, and very easy to care for. I'm particularly excited about it because my Ponte skirt from last fall, which is perfect and which I wear at least once and often three times a week, is starting to pill badly. (Please, Boden, bring it back!) However, the sizing is a bit of a failure: it's supposed to hit at the same place (above the waist) as last year's Ponte skirt, but the waistband is 1-2 inches smaller, and I'm having to send it back for a size up (after having the opposite problem last year). I've compared - it's the skirt sizing that's changed, not me! Also, I'd really like the option of a plain black to wear with printed tops.

Only it runs small in the waist.

Having originally purchased the matching jacquard top in the black and ivory spot print, I then ordered this skirt because the top is so stylish and flattering, as well as comfortable. I actually like the skirt now even better than the top, but as an outfit, it's perfect! Yes, together they feature a lot of spots, but spots are always in style, I believe, especially in classic a black and white palette! I like that the skirt is knee length, the front darts do not add bulk but rather a nice skirt shape, and pockets are a wonderful addition to any skirt! My only disclaimer is that while the skirt and top are machine washable, I found that after washing the top one time, it was quite covered in pilling. It was nothing my sweater shaving tool couldn't handle, but I think handwashing would suit these pieces better.

Oh, how I wanted this to work! I ordered the Navy/Ginger in a 10L since I'm 5'7" & intended to wear 3" heels w/it. The print is super fun but the craftsmanship left much to be desired, as there were loose threads sticking out in numerous places, the material was a little rough & there was no lining. Things just got worse when I tried it on: The waist is quite small so I had to pull it up high above my natural waist to zip it up fully which then caused the pleats (which do not lay flat) to pouf out even more. Then I noticed that one side of the skirt was longer than the other; one side fell above my knee while the other fell almost below it. No matter how I repositioned this skirt, it just looked so unflattering – the volume created by the pleats at the waist causes most tops to look bunchy & odd. As much as I loved the print, the fit was all wrong & the quality issues further convinced me to return it.

Fabric was great and I really wanted it to work but sizing was way off and I have purchased other items in the same size recently. Also, looks like the length is longer in the picture than it is in reality.
