I bought this skirt in navy. This is a nice basic that can be dressed up or down. It has a flattering fullness to the skirt without making my hips look bigger! Normally, I am just fitting into a Boden size 14. In this skirt the 12 fits fine-so it runs a full size bigger in the waist. It is a washed navy color that I like, but if you're looking for a crisp dark navy this isn't the skirt for you. I will wear this with a striped t-shirt and casual sandals on weekends or a white blouse and bright cardigan for work.

I love this skirt. Just a lightweight beautiful summer skirt. It is well made and very flattering. I am a size 8-10 and bought the ivory 8R. Perfect length and fit. I like that it has pockets, which you don't find that often with Boden skirts. Am also happy about the ivory color. Looks more sophisticated than a plain white one.

I wanted this skirt so badly! I ordered it in my regular size 6 and found it too large in the waist, so I re-order in size 4, and it is STILL TOO LARGE. I'm 5'6", 120 pounds, 34C, 27, 36. The waist of the size 4 is supposed to be 28", but it actually measures 30", and it just hangs on my hips. I double-checked that it is really a size 4, because I can't believe that it fits so poorly. I'm giving up on this skirt, but if you want to try it, order 2 sizes down!

Order one size down. Runs large in waist. I am 6' and weigh 140 pds. and the size
6 L fit great on my 27" waist. The 25" long length hit right pass my knee, which is appropriate for my 55 yrs. Plenty of hip room and no muffin top at waist.

I am 41" in the hips and in Boden pencil skirts I wear size 8L.

Great skirt for hot and humid weather. Washes well and no ironing.

Wanted to hold onto this but it was too long (even in petite size) and the waist was too big for me. I got a 4 and the 2 was sold out -- and I'm usually between the two sizes. A 2 might even have been too loose! Overall, I would recommend to taller ladies (I'm 5'3") and tell people to go down a size if they are on the fence. Embroidery is beautiful but not distracting.

This is a great skirt. I bought it in blue and think that I will get a lot of use out of it. It's a good length for me. I will wear it for work with a nice blouse, rand casually with a T shirt. It is very comfortable. Love the pockets. I am 5' 9" and had been looking for a skirt that hit above the knee but wasn't too short. This is perfect.

Very cute, comfortable and useful skirt to wear for all kinds of occasions. I have been wearing navy, gray and black for too long and this year decided to bloom a little in the nice weather, so I've been pairing the orange-ish one with bright colored t-shirts. At a dinner party last night, my hostess said I looked like a fuchsia. Is that a good thing? As others have noticed, the waist is generous -- which I didn't think was bad. Love the pockets!

I love this skirt, because I can wear it during the day, dressed down when taking care of the kids..but it's also perfect for a night out with my husband. The detail in the embroidery is absolutely stunning and I'm thinking of buying the same skirt (I bought red) in different colors. Also very comfortable to wear and very flattering!

The stitching is simply too delicate, it can snag on anything! The cotton was also thinner and of a poorer quality than I expected and not quite a crisp white. It also runs a little large, and because of the shape of the pockets on the skirt, it must fit just right.

I really liked the embroidery on the border on the skirt, as usual boden offered good quality as well as a unique design, I am usually an 8 in boden dresses and skirts, but the skirt ran large so I exchanged it for a size 6 and it was perfect, another issue is you can see the pockets in the white skirt, but I will make do.
