I ordered a 12L because I thought it would be tight. Nooooooooo! It is huge!
I think I need a 8L. Even though the skirt is quite well made, it's too heavy to wear in the southwest US summers. Sending it back :(

I am between sizes in this skirt--the 6 is too small but the 8 is a bit too large to be a good fit for me. I'm keeping the silver jacquard skirt nevertheless because the fabric is so gorgeous. I am returning the denim one after some indecision because the fit is just a bit too loose for this shape. But I was very impressed with how beautifully made the skirt is. It has a lovely lining, and the denim skirt has a black grosgrain ribbon at the waist.

I love the shape of this pencil skirt--it is snug-fitting around the waist and opens out enough around the thighs so allow for comfortable movement. Definitely a keeper.

One of my first Boden skirt purchases--and it won't be the last! Slim fit, but enough room to walk and sit---print has a lot of style--many compliments the first time I wore it--and high quality workmanship throughout!

This is my go to skirt for almost all occasion. It goes with most of my tops. I have to be honest I really love it most because it's so slimming!!

My usual Boden size 8L fit perfectly in this skirt. My hips are 40" and my waist is 28" and I am 6' tall. The length was a little past my knee which looks good when you're my age and you still have shapely lower legs and ankles you want to show off. My boyfriend loved the glitter in the silver skirt. It was perfect for a jazz club. I bought the red, pink and tan V-neck cardigan and floral short sleeve blouse as pictured on the model for the sweater ad. The outfit rocked!

I found the denim skirt too stiff and did not the chalk board mark patterns or the large exploding dandelion sparkler patterns. For easy wear and simplicity go for the Breadwinner skirts instead.

I have worn this skirt to art openings and graduations. I could wear it to parties as well. I feel very comfortable when wearing this skirt and am thrilled for at 5Ft and a petite size 4 it can be difficult to find a flattering skirt. I get a little thrill when i know i am going to wear it. Many thanks Boden... In fact, most things I buy from you always get compliments!

Well-made, nice print, fits well. The navy tribal pattern looks great with the ladder-stitch cardigan.

This skirt is all of those positive descriptors and more, but only if you go up a size. I ordered my usual US size 4 and liked the way it fit except for one key area: it was too tight across the bum. I held onto it and ordered a US size 6 for comparison, and after much deliberation STILL held onto the 4, thinking I might get myself into slightly better shape. Fast froward a few months, and there it was, still just waiting, hanging in my closet, so again I ordered a 6 (it would be great to be near a Boden retail outlet-if there is one-so you could try things on without incurring shipping for yourself or Boden) and this time conceded defeat. I kept the 6 this time- actually two of them, replacing the original ivory/blue/yellow floral and adding the other color option in that print, and have worn both already. Sometimes you just have to get over yourself, but I do think this one does run small! Great skirt, otherwise- fabulous fabric texture, colors, print, design, quality. You know I love your stuff, Boden.
