I got the silver metallic jacquard, and the fabric is just a knockout--gorgeous! My complaint is more with my in-between size than with the skirt--I wear a 6L in Boden dresses (5'9" and 137 lb.) but the 6 in this skirt was just a little too tight. The 8, however, is just a little too loose--the pencil style looks better when it's pretty snug, I think--but nevertheless I love this skirt, which coordinates beautifully with all kinds of unexpected tops in browns, blues, black, etc. and can be dressed up or down with ease.

I am a definite hourglass shape, and a rather curvy one, so I don't normally try pencil silhouettes. I loved the multi cow parsley print so much that I gave it a try, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the size that would fit my hips, and while there is a slight gap in the waist no one will see it because I don't tuck tops in. The regular length goes just below my knee (I'm 5'4"), and it turns out to be a surprisingly sexy length! I feel like I'm channeling my inner Mad Men diva in this skirt, and it looks fantastic with the Edie Heels in orange. I love the weight of the fabric, it maintains its shape and gives the skirt structure, and for the first time in a long time I feel confident showing off my curves. I just ordered a second one in indigo!
My only caveat: because the skirt is narrow and hits just below the kneecaps, it's rather tricky to get into tall vehicles. Still haven't mastered getting into our SUV gracefully, but the skirt is worth it :)

I love pencil skirts and I think the fabric of this skirt was a beautiful choice. However, it runs sooo small. I am a US 6 in everything I've ever ordered from Boden, but the 6 I ordered in this skirt could not even fit over my upper thighs. I have a 6 foot tall, slender, but athletic build, so I was surprised at the fact that I wasn't going to be able to pull it up let alone zip it up. I could exchange for a larger size, but shipping back and forth to England takes far too long, so I'm just going to count myself out on this one and send it back.

This metallic skirt fit a little tight for the sizing. I will probably keep it because I like the fabric, but the size 2 is very small. I would not wear this on a long day, or somewhere that I would have to sit for an hour or more. This would be better for a dinner out where I would not eat too much. It fits very snugly across my small hips actually and looks like it will wrinkle. I still rate the style and fabric highly.

I have a big waist and the lovely, busy, classy print minimizes my waist, hips and bottom. Most 16L were too big. This one fit nicely. You can dress this skirt up or down. I can wear it for holidays and social events-out to dinner and to my PTA activities too. I plan on wearing it to a family celebration and my son's college graduation.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this skirt. I got the Navy Tribal Geo. It fits well, looks fantastic, and is extremely versatile. I love the fabric which has a slight texture to it--definitely more interesting than the cotton sateen that I had been expecting. It has become my go-to skirt.

I am thrilled with this purchase! The dark denim is work-appropriate, but could be styled differently for a night on the town. The cut is super flattering, hugging curves without being tight or gapping at the waist. The length is modest, but allows movement through the back slit. The grosgrain ribbon around the waist adds a fresh twist. I look forward to even more color options for this elegantly practical skirt!

I wasn't sure that I'd like this skirt but ordered it and am so glad I did. I ordered it a little larger than usual so that I can move without restriction. Looks great on - I'd wear it for any occasion as it dresses up and down with ease. A keeper!

This skirt is so versatile, you could dress it up and wear it to a wedding, with the silver metallic detail, on a date (I plan to wear it on my anniversary, 20th next month), or dress it down for daytime wear. The material is beautiful and 3 season, I think. It is generously fit, I take a 12 and am somewhat of an apple shape, about a 33 waist and the waist is comfortable, not tight at all. I'll need the hips taken in a little - this is common for me, my hips are 40-41. I might have been able to wear the 10 but I like a comfortable waist. I want to get a retro style, open toe t-strap to go with this skirt, for a pop of color.
