I absolutely love the color of this skirt. It makes me so happy. The only slight con for me is the small pleating in the front that looks a little too round for me. However, not enough for me to send it back. Love it.

It's like a vintage fifties dress like my mother would have worn, only with a dash more style and it's new! It makes my waist look small, the length is just right, and the contrasting trim is cute. This is a good style for my slightly curvy shape. I will wear it often.

The quality and weight of the fabric is perfect, the pewter bouquet print is very versatile and feminine, and pockets are GENIUS!

Even though I studied the measurements, I ended up keeping a skirt 2 sizes smaller than my regular Boden skirt size, and I think that's a result of the unusual shape and odd details. I agree with others that the pleats along the waistband can create a rather unflattering poofy look, but since I don't tuck in my tops this hopefully won't be a problem for me. Sizing down also helped to eliminate the poofy effect, but it is now a straighter silhouette on me than the A-line shape seen on the models. I also ordered a long length despite being 5'4" because I anticipate that it will ride up when I sit.

4 stars for taking three tries to find the right size/length combo, and also because I hope I haven't limited myself by ordering a smaller size to minimize the look of extra fabric around the top of the skirt.

This skirt is racking in the compliments. I am tempted to wear it days in a row this summer, if I'm sure I won't see the same people... I love the thickness of fabric, the bright blue of it and the pockets. It's cute as anything with a pair of sandals and a white shirt.

I purchased this skirt in the stripe. It is very subtle and could be paired with lots of tops. However, I felt that it looked dowdy and didn't flatter me at all. I don't usually mind gathers in the front, but on this skirt they do not enhance the look. There are other skirts at Boden that look good on me so I am going with one of those!

This is a great looking skirt. Tons of compliments and it travels well. The grey goes with everything.

I am definitely between sizes, so this skirt is a little big on me. The fabric is a great light weight denim. I love denim when its in a feminine cut like this skirt. This replaces a skirt I regret donating and predict I will have this for many years. It will look great as the denim dye fades to a washed look.
It looked stylish with knee high boots and sandals.

I really wanted to like this skirt and might have, but since it was on sale, the size I think I needed wasn't available. The 10 was too big and the 6 too small. The feature that wouldn't allow me to fugde a size up or down is the small gathering in the front and back of the skirt, under the waistband. On the 10, it just looked too poofy. On the 6, it was snug in the rear, but then I had a little pouch in the tummy area. (I don't have 6 pack abs or anything, but my tummy isn't normally a 'problem area' for me.) The 8 might have been just the right fit. I loved the length, color (dark indigo), and the pockets!!!! But, this purchase just wasn't meant to be!

I will go everywhere with light white sweater or tee shirt. Looks like seersucker fabric. Very nice for summer.

Pay close attention to the garment measurements when ordering and you should get the right fit. I am a US6 in Boden tops and dresses if the skirt is fuller. I worried about the hips being tight so ordered an 8, which proved much to large in the waist and I found the 6 to fit better overall. I am 5'8 and prefer the tall- it falls an inch or so above my knee. The Guava color is beautiful, such a pretty coral-neither too pink or orange. It goes well with many colors and is a cheerful solid colored skirt. It will be a mainstay this summer and should travel well too.
