True to the website description, the slim strap does lengthen and slim feet. These look great, and given the narrow wedge, are surprisingly comfortable. However, your feet will move around a little so probably not suitable for walking long distances. Perfect as elegant summer footwear to perk up a casual outfit, adorn a work outfit, sparkle on a night out (I got the gold - which really are golden), and are smart, respectable, and fashionable enough for a special occasion. Lots of compliments on these. Boden please do more colours. I had a precursor to these sandals from the Boden summer collection a couple of years back and they were more comfortable - perhaps resurrect the old design for next year.

I bought these because the heel is not too high as I prefer to be comfortable. The sizing is a half to one size large, so order a size smaller than usual. Bought these in the navy and they look good with just about anything while still bein comfortable (at least for heels).

These shoes look great with summer dresses and work trousers. They're very comfortable and they show off a bright pedi.

I waited several weeks for these sandals, only to discover that they're enormous! As a true and 100% consistent size 8 I ordered size 39, but be forewarned that size 39 is most definitely NOT an 8! These are at least a half size too large, if not a whole size. It's a pity, as they are otherwise lovely sandals -- classic, elegant design, and nice rich navy color. They will make lovely, lovely sandals for the person who can manage to get the right size. Just be sure to order a whole or half size down!

Just got these and they are so adorable. Good heel height as I'm tall and don't like shoes that are too high.

Perfect heel height if you want a little lift but really prefer wearing flats. Not a "5" because they could use a little more cushion in the footbed.

I ordered these shoes in a size 39 and they were a little long on me. I am a size 8. Sometimes I wear a 38 and sometimes I wear a 39 depending on the cut of the shoe. I sent the 39 back to exchange them for the 38. They are super cute and comfy with the low wedge. I look forward to receiving the exchange!

These are really cute and versatile. I followed advice of other reviewers and ordered smaller than my usual 7.5. I got a 37 and it is a perfect fit. I look forward to wearing these all summer and into fall with pants, jeans, dresses, shorts and pretty much anything, dressed up or down. They are perfect for what I wanted, and the navy is dark enough that I think it will easily go with black as well. I'm very happy with them.

Based on the reviews of others I ordered a larger size shoe and it was indeed too large. I now await my normal shoe size with the hope that it works. I love everything about this shoe.
