lovely shoe, nicely made

I love the look of these shoes and was so excited when they went on sale. I ordered these and the Pointed Slingblacks. Unfortunately I have to send them both back because I have the same problem with both - they are so uncomfortable around the base of my toes. I was hoping that they might be ok after broken in, but after wearing them for about 2 minutes around my apartment, I have huge red marks on both sides of both feet around the base of my toes. There's no way I could wear these out of the house, I'd need to limp home barefoot. I do have slightly wide feet, but nothing crazy, I never have a problem with shoes being too tight in general. I think part of it might be my slightly wide feet, and another part is the placement of where the shoe hits on your foot where it bends when walking.

Also, I know this is the right size for me, because the overall length was right, but I also really didn't like the amount of 'toe cleavage' that shows. I think I have pretty normal sized toes, so I'm not sure what the issue is, since I didn't see any toe cleavage on the models wearing these in the catalog.

These seemed to run a bit larger than other Boden shoes. I usually get the 38 (US size 7), but they were way too long. The 37 fit much better. These are a bit stiff and will need to be broken in (they hit the base of my big toes at the bone), but they're adorable.

I bought these in two colors since I loved the beige/blue pair so much! I had to buy the coral and blue pair, too. Every time I wear either pair, I receive a lot of compliments! They're pretty and stylish, but also a nice break from heels without looking too casual. I definitely recommend these!

Very fashionable,fun and comfortable. These shoes, though very flat, look great with dresses and slacks. I got the neutral and dark navy which really go with everything. They may run a bit larger than some shoes but I think it makes the ankle strap more comfortable. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I love style, but as I near 60, I need to think of comfort in shoes, too. These do both. Stylish in their unusual color combo, ankle strap to accent one of my skinny places, and sensible heal height, these are a perfect choice for me.

Wear these to work and out to dinner and have gotten lots of compliments! The colors' are great and they're so cute! Pretty comfortable, too, but need a little breaking in because my foot's a little weird.

These shoes are so stylish, I kept both pairs that I ordered. The shoes were a little tight and rubbed the bone near my big toe at the widest part of my foot, but I was able to stretch them sufficiently with a shoe tree. I get so many compliments on these!

These looked great and I was excited to get them, but they were quite long on me. I am a 7.5 and have never had an issue with a 38. These were long, and showed way too much toe. Too bad. I got the navy and beige and they looked great, just not on my feet. They went back.
