The shape, fabric and detailing of this dress are classic Boden quality. The ruching across the middle is so flattering on my shape. I purchased this dress in the lemon curd color which is so vibrant that people can only say, 'wow!!!' Wear to work or out to an occasion with a statement necklace and some bracelets and you are good to go!
I have received so many compliments on this dress and someone even told me that I should order it in every colour!

This was almost perfect but something about the gathering looked weird on my fuller chest. Definitely try it, though, perfect for work or a more conservative "night out."

I ordered the yellow color. When I tried it on, I wanted to jump up and down. It is adorable. I wore it with a deep violet cardigan for a wedding in the northeast. It looked fabulous. Had to fold it up in my suitcase for roughly two days of air travel. When I got to my destination, I put it on a hanger and it was perfectly unwrinkled and fresh. Loved it so much I bought the black, too.

I loved this dress, but plan to return it because it is too large in the bust area and around the shoulders. I contemplated keeping it and having it altered, but given its price, decided against alterations. A better fit would be ideal for work, evenings out, and special occasions.

This dress is well made of lovely fabric and has a classic design. I am 5'6" 126 pounds and a size 4R fits perfectly. I bought the dress in lemon curd to wear to a wedding.

The dress is very nicely designed, but the yellow color is really unflattering -- almost neon.

I really wanted this dress to work--the style is such that it can as easily be worn to work as to a cocktail party. Unfortunately, the fit was terriblly unflattering on me--the side rusching (which I thought would be a cute detail) is such that the stomach poofed out and made me look pregnant (in fact, this dress fit me best when I was pregnant!!). I'm a true hour glass figure (proportionately small waist), so perhaps this style would work better for someone with less of a waist/hip differential.

This is the second review I've submitted for this beautiful dress. The first was written after receiving it in a few sizes too large and in the lemon curd color....I reordered it in a size 2, and in black.

First of all, the lining is gorgeous, as well as the dress. (it's a stunning teal green color)

Secondly, the quality is superb - I love the sleeves and ruching detail.

Thirdly, I am unwilling to send it back - I love it too much. So I will take it to my alterations lady down the street and have her take in the waist and hip area just slightly, to make it a perfect fit. In spite of the size zipper, there are two princess-style seams which will make altering it easy-to-do.

I know I will wear this garment over and over again, and need it for a business trip to Washington DC fairly soon. I just haven't seen any dress this superbly crafted nor this appropriate for a large number of choices anywhere in stores.

I purchased this in the yellow color for an upcoming wedding. I'm a tad on the busty side so I bought a size bigger than usual . While I will have to have the dress taken in and up, even as it is, it made me feel awesome. I read somewhere that you should never buy any clothing that doesn't make you jump up and down with joy--this is that dress! Immediately ordered in the other available color.

I purchased the dress in black to have that LBD in my closet. I saw the design had ruching (sp) along the sides and a 'fitted design'. When I received it in the mail it was huge, accented my chest in an unflattering way and over was horrid. When you order, I recommend a size or two down. I returned and did not exchange. I just do not think this was going to work out for me in any size
