This trouser is stylish and comfortable. I like how it fits me but not too tight that it is uncomfortable. I will definitely buy more trousers from Boden again!

I originally bought the navy color, size 2, based on waist measurement alone but I couldn't even get the pants on! I sent them back for a size 6, which seemed like it would fit me best given all of the measurements. The thigh and calf are very tight and the waist is rather loose, but I've decided to keep the pants and try wearing them with a belt. The zipper detail is really cute and modern and the navy is a classic color that will work well with lots of tops.

Love this pant. Sizes have been inconsistent, tho- I think they run on the smaller side. Love the zip detail.

From the other reviews it seems people find these to be a perfect fit or an awful fit. For me they are a perfect fit. I would describe the cut as a classic cigarette pant -- the waist is just below my natural waist, the hips and legs are lean and tapered, the hem is about 2" above my ankle. For reference, I am 5'4" 115 lbs, hourglass and I ordered the size 4. I have them in the green which is a great, go with everything color. I will order at least one other color.

I really like these pants online & when I took them out of the bag. When I tried them on though they fit really well in the waist, leg & ankle area but were very long in the crotch area. The crotch was almost down to my mid thigh. If I went down a size the waist & leg areas would be too small. Unfortunately I had to send them back. Disappointed because I was excited when I saw them online as I was looking for a pair of olive color slim ankle pants.

Was excited to put these on when they arrived since the color (pink) was exactly what I had hoped for. However, they were super tight...on my thigh and my calf. I have worn 6L (135 lbs, 6 ft) in all other boden capris and skirts without any sizing issue, but these MUST go back.

Based on reviews about the baggy waist and high rise I was convinced I'd be returning but gave them a try anyway. I decided to order a size down (6) instead of the 8 that I would typically order in Boden pants. This was the right move and I really like the pants. For reference, I'm 5'5" and 135lbs. In sizing down, the baggy waist and high rise mentioned by others were non-issues. I love the navy color and the zip detail. In a smaller size, these chinos are quite fitted on my slim and athletic (but not skinny) bulid and I don't have much room left in the thighs. However, I still love the look and they do hold their shape as other reveiwers mentioned. TIP: I also purchsed the ankle skimmer chinos which I love (again, I sized down). If you are looking for a slimmer leg chino, give them a try too.

I was wary about purchasing these pants due to previous reviews, but I'm glad I took the plunge. The pants are perfectly cut for my hourglass shape. The fabric is sturdy while still being comfortable and doesn't lose its shape throughout the day like many cotton pants. I love not having the dreaded saggy bottom at the end of the day in these. The navy is a great neutral and the bright blue is the perfect punchy color for spring and summer. I wish they came in khaki and grey because I'd buy those, too!
