Love the ankle zip on these pants--nice detail. Fit through hips and thighs absolutely true to size. Fabric seems durable without feeling heavy/thick.
My only issue is that the pants are too snug in the knee/upper calf. I ordered a 6L (my usual size). I'm 5'9"--which is not all that tall--and I have slender legs, but I have noticed this same issue in ankle length pants from other sources, too. I wish manufacturers would take note--women who work out (run, bicycle) do NOT have stick legs. Please leave room for our knees and calves.
But overall, the pants are just what I hoped for and the quality is good--as it has been with everything I've ordered from Boden.

The color was great, the ankle zips were great, but the fit was really disappointing. I usualy go with a 6, but based on reviews and garment measurements I did an 8. The waist and crotch were way too big. Too big for even a belt to help. Quickly returned...

I tried these in navy and cyan. The cyan were too large in the waist. The navy fit just right in the waist but the calves were too tight, making them uncomfortable and wrinkly from the knee up. I think these are very nice if they fit your body type!

Love these as an alternative to jeans. Fit is true to size except maybe the waist, which is a tad too big. I am a Boden size 8.

Like others, the fit just didn't work for me. I'm curvy with thicker thighs and a small waist. I got my size and the size up. My size fit "technically" but just didn't look cute as thighs were so tight. Super cute for someone else!

I like these pants. I now own them in three colors. They are well contructed and stay put without needing a belt to hold them up. I like wearing decorative belts (a chain link metal belt looks especially good with these) but most pants have too much stretch these days and won't stay up without a heavy duty belt. Not having much stretch, of course, means that you have to be careful about choosing the right size. They won't stretch around your hips, so if you can't button the button, you won't be able to button the button. I ended up getting these in size 6 rather than my usual 4 (or even 2 because everything with spandex just stretches so bad). I am 5'9" and, because these pants are meant to be cropped, they look good on me in both regular and long.

This trouser is stylish and comfortable. I like how it fits me but not too tight that it is uncomfortable. I will definitely buy more trousers from Boden again!

I originally bought the navy color, size 2, based on waist measurement alone but I couldn't even get the pants on! I sent them back for a size 6, which seemed like it would fit me best given all of the measurements. The thigh and calf are very tight and the waist is rather loose, but I've decided to keep the pants and try wearing them with a belt. The zipper detail is really cute and modern and the navy is a classic color that will work well with lots of tops.

Love this pant. Sizes have been inconsistent, tho- I think they run on the smaller side. Love the zip detail.

From the other reviews it seems people find these to be a perfect fit or an awful fit. For me they are a perfect fit. I would describe the cut as a classic cigarette pant -- the waist is just below my natural waist, the hips and legs are lean and tapered, the hem is about 2" above my ankle. For reference, I am 5'4" 115 lbs, hourglass and I ordered the size 4. I have them in the green which is a great, go with everything color. I will order at least one other color.
