I've worn this dress twice in the past month and have received compliments both times! It's very versatile and was worn to an awards ceremony at work (I'm a teacher)as well as my niece's Communion. I purchased the blue color and paired it with yellow sandals to complement the yellow in the dress. I wear the belt with the striped side out all around and the dress is very flattering for me (thin waist, bigger thighs). I find the dress TTS for me, but was a little nervous about the arms. They might be a little tight on someone else. I am 5'3",130 lbs., 34B and purchased a 6R. I don't think a 6P was available when I purchased (or perhaps not on sale?), otherwise I might have gone with the P for a shorter, above-the-knee length, though the 6R works fine for this modest lady!

I just got this dress, and it is so lovely! It looks great for work, a night out, or even just to look cute while running around town -- it can serve any purpose depending on the shoes you pair with it. It feels very well-made.

I'm 5'3" 108 lb., and the 4P fit perfectly. It is a little more snug than other Boden dresses I've gotten, but as long as it doesn't shrink with washing, it is perfect.

The fabric has a little give to it, and the colors are very vibrant. Great job, Boden!

This is the cutest 50's style shirt dress! I'm 5"3' and the 8p fit great but I kept the 8r for the length. The 8p was just a little above my knee and the 8r hits a little below. (I'm a cusper on sizes.) The quality and details are fab! It is quite adorable!

Beautiful dress and very well made. It has a flattering fit, I feel pretty in it and I got lots of compliments. I have the Soft Red Flower Pop color and it brightens up any room. While I love the dress, I have to say that it could use a little extra room around the chest and I think the price is too much (I only bought it because it was 50% off).
Definitely a winner and I will wear it a lot this summer.

Daughter and granddaughter urged me to buy this dress since we all liked it on the model; however, my usual size (12) hugged my rib cage and the skirt flared out like a rooster tail, resulting in an unflattering silhouette. Tall women will look great in this dress.

I love the design with the added ribbon edging to give it just enough of an update to the classic style. The fit was comfortable in general except the sleeves were a bit tight as it ended above the elbow for me versus below the elbow on the model.

The color combination is great! The details really add visual interest. The fit is great on an (my) hourglass shape. The belt is lovely and can be worn in the contrasting pattern. I wore it to work and got many compliments!

My one critique is the that the chest is a bit small and the buttons pull a very little bit (I am well endowed 36D-DD).

I feel pretty wearing this dress. I washed it at home and it washed exceptionally well, hung to dry, really doesn't need to be ironed. great fabric.
Fits perfect, except in the arms a little tight. Bought all three colors! I'm glad I did.

I love this dress. The material is amazing. I washed in my washer on hand wash and hung it up to dry and there are almost no wrinkles in it. The washing softened the material as well, so that it will be even more comfortable than the first time I washed it. I feel smashing in this dress, womanly and very put together. I brought the grey. Only thing that was a problem was I shall have to put a snap to hold one place together so it doesnt' gap. I have hips, I'm built wide, and I know some people said they thought it made them to hippy, but I don't agree. At first I thought so, but then I hung it up a couple days and came back to it and it looks really fine. Love the retro look.

This is the second dress I got in this style and I love it. I always receive compliments, is a very flattering style and femenine. Could be dress down with flat sandals or dress up. I will continue getting more. It's true to size, but if you don't like it too tight size up.
