This dress is great! The picture online is a bit hard to tell how it will fit because the model is not standing straight. I bought the dress to wear on vacation and loved it! I stayed cool but looked nice the whole day. I am 5' 11" and the tall was perfect in length. The only downsides are it is a bit tight in the shoulder/armpit area and you have to wash carefully and store flat but I would definitely recommend.

So very cute, but the fit on top was horrible for my apple-shaped figure. I'm not overweight, but I'm a 32E bra with a 29" waist and narrow hips (usually an 8 on top and 6-8 below) The waist is constricting and the top blouses out unflatteringly. Too bad, because the skirt design is absolutely gorgeous. Had to go back but really wanted it to work.

Like many other reviewers, I was surprised when I first received this dress by how short it is. I exchanged it for a Long in my normal size, and am now very happy with it.

I really wanted to like this dress but alas it is not for me. It is very comfortable and I like the fabric but the top portion of the dress is too blousy/loose fitting to be flattering on me. Perhaps it is meant for larger chested women or a different body type. Unfortunately, I am sending this back.

I love the feel of the fabric and the swishy-ness of the skirt. However, the elasticized waist falls in a funny place on me (I'm long waisted). I can't decide if it's worth keeping or not, but it might hit you short-waisted folks in a more flattering place.

Great, airy summer dress. I'm an hourglass/pear shape 5'9", normally 145, currently 160 and about 6 months pregnant and got an 8L (normally a 6L works, but 8 as well). It skims the bottom of my knee ok, not as long as in the pic; it will be better when I'm not pregnant. Material is fantastic, flowy, wonderfully cool. Seems perfect for slightly pear-shaped, and I didn't find the waist-band restricting at all, even pregnant, but my top half is smaller. Fantastic colors, class and comfort.

I ordered the long and glad I did. I'm 5'8 and it hits at the knee like on the modeled picture. It does have a looser fit to the top but I like that. It like the pop of color at the bottome too.

This dress is perfect. It is beautiful, comfortable and weathers going down slides at the park with my boys as well as it does date night with my husband. It is flattering, fun (love the color blocking) and I was able to get blueberry juice stain out with a little cold water and then following the washing instructions (it needs a gentle cycle and no dryer). I love this dress.

I wasn't sure if I should order the 2R or 4R since the Amelie dress was a tiny bit big for a 4R. I played it safe anyway and still ordered the 4R and it fit perfectly. I'm 5'2" and wear anywhere between a 4-6 pants, S or M in shirts. The material is heavier than I expected, but also unforgiving if you have a pooch. Ladies, Spanx is your best friend. It's a great dress for a casual work day or weekend where you don't want to look sloppy, but also want to be comfortable. The only negative is that it's a little too low in the front. I'm a B-cup and am not into showing cleavage so I'm usually pulling it up quite a bit.
