love the dress...husband loved it...skirt a little large - will need to have taken in. Likely not an issue for most women - I have slim hips

This dress is beautiful. I ordered the soft red/soot, but the soft red really is orange, which unfortunately, is not flattering on my coloring. I am exchanging it for the dune marl/navy because the design is so unique and feminine and lovely I really want it in my wardrobe.

I ordered a regular, based on a review from someone who was 5'10" saying it hit her below the knee, but at 5'8" I need a long to get it to hit at or below my knee, which I prefer for the office. So if you normally order a long, which I do, I still would for this dress.

The texture of the skirt is amazing, and the top is soft, with fitted sleeves and a little blousiness to it. It's really lovely. I do hope the top lasts as well as the bottom, as it is made of much thinner material.

Love this. The other reviewers were right, super comfortable and flattering. Same issue as always for my shape, the top is a little loose to accomodate the fit on bottom. The texture of the skirt is great, and love the bright orange top with the muted skirt. A winner.

The dress was sized appropriately and fit the description...it just didn't pop when I tried it on. May have been the color combination, or the fact that the drapey top half felt a bit to un-polished for me. Not a bad piece, just didn't go clunk for me.

I am generally a 10P. I sized down to an 8R following reviews. The skirt part fit fine, and the fabric on top was soft and lovely, the skirt was thick and seemed well made, and the colors (navy & tan) were great. However, it looked terrible on me. There was way too much length in the top (inches and inches worth). The top, which should have been a flattering loose fit, instead was a square of awkward fabric sitting on top of (and folding over) a neat, fitted skirt. I tried to pull it down a bit but the skirt wanted to sit at my natural waist and would have looked nice there. I think this would be a wonderful dress on someone very tall with a long waist, but it unfortunately did nothing for me.

I liked the look and versatility of this dress, but when I tried it on the top was a little too big and the bottom was a little too tight so I sent it back. It just wasn't a great fit for my body type (larger hips/smaller bust). Would look super cute on some with a larger chest or an hour glass figure. It was a bummer.

I love this dress - true to size, and while the top is a bit drapey as others have noted, it looks great with the pencil skirt. I put a thick belt around the waist and it's perfect - looks like a two piece look that I took time to pair together, but it's just one, easy dress. Love it!

I was really looking forward to wearing this dress, but it turned out to be not flattering. The skirt was too tight and the top too loose. I usually order the tall in Boden dresses, but this skirt was too long. It did seem like good quality, though.

This dress is absolutely AMAZING, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It looks great on, hugs all the right places and feels comfortable to boot!! I like the contrasting fabric, AND, it's machine washable.....SO GREAT!! I feel that it's true to size and am so happy that I purchased this dress. Now I'm off to find the perfect pair of shoes for this perfect dress!!!

I had high hopes for this dress as a really easy work-wear staple. Unfortunately, the fit wasn't great. I am a standard size 4, hourglass shape (32C on top), 5'3", but petite in terms of frame. But the top was baggy, it looked messy and would not have looked nice under a blazer for example. I liked how the top/skirt were attached, it would be great with a big belt. But the skirt was also not great in terms of structure. It wasn't structured enough to flatten my stomach (I have had two kids on the last 3 years) and didn't seem like it would keep its shape long term. Sadly it had to go back.
