My 22 year old daughter convinced me to order the green and the navy so I could pick my favorite in real life instead of on the screen. The navy seems more classic - a bit safer; the green is a little more trendy and not as conservative. Now I'm not sure which one to keep and which one to return. For the record, my daughter is green with envy that I didn't buy her the dress too - it's just perfect for any age adult woman who likes beautifully tailored clothing.

I'm wearing this to a fancy dinner/university award dinner where the men will be in tuxedos and the women will be in all sorts of different attire. That's what so perfect about this dress - it will be appropriate no matter what the occasion. The beading adds just enough umph with looking gaudy.

The fit - I usually wear an American size 2/4 in dresses but in Boden I wear a 6, sometimes even an 8, but this dress is absolutely perfect in a 4. I'm bigger through the bust than I am around the waist or hip and this dress is cut just right for me. The dress is quite fitted around the waist and hips, so order up if you need more wiggle room. One thing the picture doesn't quite convey accurately is that the sleeves are fairly sheer and the fabric on the top of the dress and the skirt are not the same fabric, although the colors do match quite nicely.

This is my favorite Boden purchase. Ever.

I will wear this dress to my daughter's wedding. It was difficult to find a dress in the color gold that was comfortable and sophisticated. This dress was given two thumbs up by the event planner. The wedding is being held in Boston, MA . I hope this dress will be available in a new range of colors. Best of all this dress will be worn again and again.

Sexy elegance in a fitted dress. Slimming and makes your figure look really good, esp with the flat front and fitted bodice. Because of the snug fit, I think the dress is better suited for smaller chests, or at least I recommend picking one size bigger ( I am a size 2 and found that size 4 fits better). The dress is pricey but you get what you pay for in stylistics and durability. Hard to believe the fabric is viscose and cotton because it looks like polished silk! This dress is a head turner from a style perspective. I wish there were more varieties in color otherwise I have no complaints and will get a lot of wear out of this beautiful dress!

This dress was initially sold out and I was SO happy when it was back in stock. Beautiful design but very strange fabric in the skirt. In the navy dress, the skirt and top were different fabrics and shades of navy and the skirt fabric felt very stiff, not fluid like the top. LOVE Boden, but this one is a miss. Returning.

Love the look of this dress! I bought it for a special occasion but I think it is understated enough to wear with a sweater to the office.

Have some mixed feelings about the material on the bottom half -- it's a heavier but stretchy fabric that wrinkled just getting it on (maybe I need a lesson in how to put on a side zip dress), and attracted lint pretty easily. Like the style enough that I think I will forgive it.

Am 5'3", 122; 6P would have been perfect, but the 6R will do with minor alterations.

An absolutely beautiful dress. This dress is everything I was hoping it would be and more. I am looking forward to wearing to a special event next weekend. The stone accent on the top makes it festive but not overdone. It's understated but eye catching at the sametime. I bought it in the navy blue and also bought the sling back navy heels to coordinate. The dress fits true to size.

I was looking for something different and classy to wear to my daughter's wedding shower which was an afternoon tea. I got many compliments on this dress and was comfortable throughout the event. I cannot wait to wear this dress again. Hopefully for a date nigh with the husband.
