This dress fits a bit too large through the waist for me, and I ordered a size 8 which fit me perfectly in the Ledbury dress. Because the Selina was too large in the waist the horizontal waist band sags and gives no shape to me. I considered exchanging for a smaller size, but it may have ended up being too small through the shoulder area, plus the next smaller size wasn't available. I decided to stick with my original size and just wear it with a belt. And honestly, I like having the color contrast of a black belt against the green dress, it adds a bit more interest.

I'm 5"10, thin build and ordered this dress in 4 long ( my typical boden size) It's perfect! Finally have a comfy beautiful dress for special occasions that I can dress up or down. The orange color is not too bright yet a unique color that is easy to wear.

I ordered this dress in eucalyptus for a friend's wedding. I ordered my usual size 8 and it fits well! I love the color and I love the dress. Another reviewer mentioned that she didn't know how she'd button the dress when she didn't have someone there to help her but there is a side zip so I didn't need to unbutton any of the buttons up the back to get in and out of the dress.

I bought this dress in eucalyptus to wear to a wedding. I'm 5 4", average build and with a small bust. I ordered the 8r and it fits perfectly, is very flattering (gives a nice look of having more bust) and falls just at my knees. It's also very comfortable, which is great in a pretty dress. As some other reviewers have said, you do need someone else to do up the back. I can't wait to wear it to the wedding.

Nice quality. A smidge tight in the midsection on me but still overall very comfortable. A little disappointed this is dry clean only but hopefully color will stay true.

This is a classic dress that feels cute and elegant at the same time. It fits well and is comfortable. Add some clunky vintage jewelry and some fabulous shoes and you are ready for a day/ evening event!

I bought this in the purple, size 6 (I am 5' 3", 125#). Color is beautiful, as is the dress. Once I got it on, it was very pretty, and the size was right, but getting it on was a production, and taking it off was worse. There's a side zipper, and a bunch of buttons down the back. No buttonholes, though - the buttons close with loops, like you'd see on a wedding dress. They were impossible to close by myself. I also found that, generally, the dress was hard to get on & off over my head. I don't know how you could wear this unless you have someone standing around waiting to help button you up. Back it goes, which is too bad, because it's so pretty.

This dress is great for dressier occasions, but could also be just right for work or luncheon with a jacket or sweater (try Boden's front tie cardi).

I just got the dress in the mail and it fits perfectly. I'm 5'10" or so and I'm really glad I ordered the long. It hits right at the knee so it's appropriate for weddings without being too conservative. I find it really hard to find empire waist dresses that actually hit under my larger chest region and I'm happy to say that this one does. Planning on ordering more dresses in the future.

Lovely stylish dress. This is comfortable, with a fitted waist, nice pleating adds style to looser top and skirt. It doesn't look too full or poufy, and the fabric has a nice drape to it. It wrinkles a bit easily.
