I purchased this shift in the bright yellow and was struck by its beauty when it arrived. However, I was unpleasantly surprised that is was simply too big in some areas and a bit tight in others. I order my usual 8, or UK 12, which has always been perfect for me in terms of Boden shifts. I returned, it despite wanting to make it work. It simply felt a bit frumpy, yet the color was amazing.

I just received my lace dress...All I can say WOW!!! Lovely dress,Fit is great I am 5ft.3in and weigh 129Ibs. I chose regular size 8 and it is a perfect fit and length. I will keep this one for dress up night or special occasions...WOW!!! Lovely

This is such a beautiful dress and it made me smile as soon as I put it on. I ordered it in my usual Boden size and it fit perfectly. The material is very nice, and you can wear this dress to just about anything. Pair it with a sweater or blazer and it look great to go to work (I purchased the navy, which is so classic) or wear it with a beautiful wrap and some nice shoes and go to the opera, out for a nice dinner or even to a wedding. I was worried at first that this would just be a "going out" dress, but honestly you can wear it to work, particularly if you opt for the navy or white, which are classic colors. Overall, one of Boden's best efforts this season.

Great dress. Comfortable and feminine. I love this style. I bought a size 8 and I am 5'6", 138 lbs. Very curvy. I can feel girly at my age without feeling like I'm over doing it!

I love this dress! The lace detail is beautiful. I bought the navy blue with the main purpose of wearing it to work, but after trying it on I think it is the perfect dress for almost any occasion. I bought a 6 petite, it was a little snug in the bust but fit great every where else. I chose to keep this size, because I think an 8 would have been too big. I an usually a size 6 in Boden.

I have the dress in the Lemon Curd, the color seems true to the picture. It is very pretty and feminine, it has a retro feel to it and it is very cute on. I bought it for a spring evening party and am sure it will be perfect. It is lighter than I imagined and a tiny bit see through in the light so think about your undergarments if that is an issue to you. This dress will be great in summer too as it is super light, comfortable and great n the heat. I found the size to be true to the sizing chart -please check that, if you are used to American vanity sizing (and who isn't) you may find this a little tight, but I took my measurements before purchase and checked the Boden sizing chart to ensure a perfect fit. You will have to dry clean this dress no hand washing is stipulated but as it is an occasion dress it won't need to be cleaned often. I think it would suit all ages, it is quite high waisted so that is a consideration for certain body types. I am 5'2" and it hits the bottom of my knee cap a nice length for me.

This dress is so flattering. I waivered on the price, but got it during one of Boden's fabulous sales. Got it in the mail and fell absolutely in love with it. This will be a staple for this summer's special occasions and work functions.

the pictures do not do this dress justice-- it's simply beautiful! bought it in cream -- it IS cream, though it looks white online. the tailoring is classical, close to the body but not tight, and the lace is gorgeous. i'm wearing it for a party this summer, hoping to look as elegant as possible. this dress will make that happen.

This dress fits wonderfully true to size. I am a bit pear-shaped but it still fits beautifully. I got the dress in the yellow color. It is not just styled as mod in the photos- it has an inherent 60s quality in the color and overlay. I think that this is fun and a great contrast to the more conservative cut. However, if that isn't your bag, it isn't a shrinking violet of a dress. I am looking forward to wearing it this summer as an alternative to my usual strapless, full-skirt sundresses.
