I bought this dress for a late afternoon wedding in early summer. It is the perfect weight and fit. Perhaps I am lucky, but I have never had a bad fit with a Boden dress. The 6R was PERFECT. Looked tailored!

Gorgeous dress!! What more to say? The material is excellent. I am 5'8" blond, got the yellow. Yellow is a tricky color but this looks just as shown. Its slightly see- through, so ypu will need the right undergarments. A little pricey - as Boden's nicer stuff has been lately, but worth the wait for the sale.

This is so pretty, just didn't fit me well. I am 5'4" and 130lbs went with a 6R (new to boden) and the band on the middle is very tight and doesn't have any stretch. I'd go to an 8, however the bust on the 6 is already way to loose (small b cup size). I noticed another reviewer is going to get it altered and have considered doing that b/c it is such a lovely dress. It is well made with nice materials, I gave it a 4/5 b/c the bust seems out of proportion to the rest of the dress. I too recommend sizing up if in between sizes, beware if small chested though.

I received this dress yesterday in yellow, and it is absolutely gorgeous. I usually wear a 10P US. But I am pear shaped (ok, my hips are huge...) and was afraid it would be too tight on my bottom half. The 12R US that I ordered fit perfectly. I am short-waisted and would normally have to have it altered, but not in this case. So maybe those who are long-waisted take note. The color is vibrant and fun and the construction is solid. I can make it more appropriate for the office as a jumper over a white button down and with pearls. My only complaint is that it may be just a tad short, but it's not so bad to take off a star or order a long.

I really liked this dress in the picture and when I got it LOVED it even more! It's a classic piece for summer. I'm so happy I bought it!

I lost a lot of weight recently and was looking for versitle dress, one I can wear to work and for a special event (day or evening). This dress fits the bill.

For those of you who need to dress up in hot and humid climates, this is a great dress. It is really light weight. I plan on wearing it to an outdoor, somewhat dressy 4th of July party.

I ordered the blue in a size 6 (according to the sizing chart and prior reviews). It fits perfectly in the waist. There is some room in the chest and hips, but not too much. I don't think it is too big, I believe it is cut that way. It looks fine.

Someone commented that it is sheer - and even the blue kind of is. If the light is behind you, you can see the outline of your legs through the skirt part of the dress. I wondered how sheer the white could be.

This is a keeper. The material is wonderful and the style is a classic. The top is a little big but it is an easy fix. The best thing about it is that although it is lace it is not frumpy looking.
Way to go Boden.

This dress is gorgeous. I ordered many dresses in size 12 to compare and pick one -- the rest fit but this one was tight around my ribs. I think it's my favorite so I've reordered in size 14. Beautiful dress!

I vary between a 4 and a 6 so I purchased this dress in ivory size 4, it's really tight in the stomach area and required some extra tugging to zip up. It would work as long as you only have air and water for dinner. I ordered the size 6 to replace it so it should be fine. The dress is absolutely gorgeous, get it now while it's on sale!

I thought the look of this dress was simply classic and could go to work or out at night -- versatile and always looks good.
