This is an adorable, easy to wear, comfortable, all purpose dress. I have an hour glass, curvy figure and it flattered my curves and made my waist look tiny. I was worried that the empire waistline may give it a pregnancy look, but it didn't. Not at all. So flattering. The fabric is very soft to the touch and the two layers of fabric are a really nice, high quality touch. I like the detailing at the neckline and the small puff to the sleeves. I bought the gray and I can see that I will get much use out of it this summer. Great purchase.

Too bad, I only had enough for one dress. The green version had a completely different, earthy tone, not quite as formal but very natural. Both were flattering, really flattering.

I am 5' 6 and 1/2" and 133lbs with narrow shoulders, a 27 inch waist and 40 inch hips. I have trouble finding dresses. Period. The difference between my waist and hips makes it nearly impossible to find modest dresses that flatter my figure. This dress is the perfect answer to my summer modest dress search. The lycocell is exactly what I needed for good drape plus the empire waist is what I need to minimize the difference between my waist and hips. Add to that sleeves and a modest but flattering scoopneck in a beautiful blue (more gray blue than navy blue but still wonderful) and this dress is a keeper for me!! If you are pear shape looking for a modest summer dress that you can also layer for fall and winter, this is it! I ordered a 6L and the fit was perfect--but I do like my dresses a little longer--the long version hits me right at my knees.

I live in the southern US and we have warm weather 9 months of the year. This dress is great for work with sweater when the air conditioning is freezing you out and will dress up nicely for special occasions. I bought it in blue and then bought another in charcoal. I'll wear them to death.

I am so glad I took a chance on this dress. It is much more understated than most of the dresses in the Spring collection and I almost overlooked it. It drapes beautifully, is a lovely color in French Blue, and has an overall simple elegance to it. It will look great with sandles on a hot day, or with tights, a cardi, and some mary janes on a cooler one. I am 5'7 and 155lbs, and the size 10 fits well. I could probably wear an 8 also, but it would be quite fitted. I prefer the drapiness and movement of the fabric in the slightly larger size. Very very pretty.

Good on it's own when the weather improves, or very nice with a sweater or jacket. Will order another in blue.
