This dress is absolutely perfect for work in the summer. It's even machine washable!

This is my favorite Boden dress and it looks exactly like pictured in the emerald green. I like the fact it isn't lined as that would just add extra fabric. It has a full skirt but not too much fabric and hangs better than some of the jersey knit dresses. If you arent as short waisted as i am, the empire waist might feel a bit high. I am 5'7" and 130lbs and the size 8R is perfect (i wear a 6 or 8 in Boden). I had considered buying the 8L but am glad i didnt as it doesnt need the extra length and hits just at bottom of the knee on me. I would buy it in other colors in the next sale.

Beautiful, flattering dress for the hourglass figure, but I would guess it to be good for most shapes. Fabric has some weight, so it feels as though this dress will last, which is great, since it is a classic style. I bought the navy and plan to love it for a long time as easy and put-together work wear.

Received the dress, took it out of the bag, ironed it, wore it out the door. The compliments have not stopped coming. Wore with flats for Audrey Hepburn look, and added chunky necklace. Smoothed my bumps and flattered my curves.Perfect!

This dress is elegant, flattering, and washable. I'm 5'10" and the tall hits just below the knee (perfect length). I ordered one size up from my usual size, and I'm glad I did because the bust seemed a little small. I'm back to order another in a different color, and would love to have this dress in every color (Boden, please consider offering it in red the next time you make a similar dress).

I purchased this dress in green, and am SO glad I did. I was initially concerned about the higher price point, but let me tell you - it is absolutely worth it. The design is flawless; it fits perfectly. Moreover, the fact that it is machine washable blows my mind.

It is one of those stand-out dresses: Although it has many simple elements to it, the details (pleated neckline, large, "swishy" skirt) make it a total gem... Wear it and you'll be sure to get several compliments. I plan on wearing it mainly in business casual settings, but could also see myself wearing it for some special occasions as well.

Ordered in green and is a true bright Irish green. Fit is very flattering (I am petite but on the curvy side). At 5'2" the 6R does fall just below the knee as pictured. The fabric has a bit of stretch to it which makes it quite comfortable. It is not lined so perhaps not of the same quality as other Boden pieces, but then also more lightweight to wear through the summer. Perfect for my work.

This is a beautiful dress. The pleats on the bodice are well made and do not stand "up" on a medium-large chest. They actually enhance.

The fabric, as with all Boden offerings, is of a soft hand, and drapes well - even though thick like ponte.

The skirt flares and drapes, although is terribly long and needs hemming...to be at mid to lower knee.

What a great tribute to Dior's The New Dress of the 1950s...but in a modern way. Great shoes, statement necklace and bracelet .. and you're ready for the boardroom (maybe with a jacket or jumper) and the dining room.

How about one in a print for fall, Boden? Or more colors? Long sleeved (not 3/4 please) for all?
