There is a lot that is great about this dress. First, the fabric is yummy! Thick, but not too heavy, soft and drapey. The purple/periwinkle color is deep and very pretty. I love the trim at the neck and hem, and the length which hit me right near the base of my knee in the regular length (I am 5'5"). I think the dress fits true to size, but on me there was too much length between the shoulder and the empire waist. The V-neck was a tad low, but the deal breaker was that the empire waist band hit several inches below my bust, which made the little gathers there look silly. (I wear Boden size 2, 32B). I tried a 2P, but the only difference between the two is that the skirt is shorter in the petit. The bodice fit the same. I have been searching all spring for a dress that can go from casual to professional and still keep me feeling relaxed and comfortable. This dress could do all that, if only the bodice fit correctly. I was very sad to return it.

The bust and empire waist fit great but alas the bottom half of the skirt flared out too much. The sweep of the skirt should be scaled down for petite sizes. Also did not love the color. It was more purple than blue. Otherwise nice fabric and seemed well made. While I am at it, enough of the cap sleeves already. Please make a dress with a full short sleeve.

Periwinkle color if spot on and the fabric is thick but not unsuitable for summer temps. Comfortable and cute. Makes for an easy outfit on those mornings you need choose something quick. I love that though it can be casual with some flip flop it does have some added flair with the trim that can carry it into a night out. My only wish was that the neckline was a tad higher, I am borderline feeling like I need a cami - but I am on the more conservative side in my taste. I am 5'6, 136 lbs with an athletic build and the size 6 fits well.

I was a little worried this dress would be too see-through (I got the white color), but it's working well so far. It's a little heavier fabric than I expected, which I'm actually pleased about (it's not too flimsy).

I am SO HAPPY with this wonderful dress in the coral color, that I ordered TWO in WHITE. Unfortunately the fabric is too thin for the color white. All underwear, even white underwear, shows though the back of the white dress. I recommend this in colors, but not in white.

I am so happy with this dress! It fits perfectly and looks great. I am actually thinking about buying the same dress in a different color.

I bought this dress in the dark purple and I love it! I wore it out to dinner with my husband with wedge heels and jewelry, but I will also wear it with flip flops around town with my kids. I have bought several things this season from Boden in my normal size 10 and this dress was no different. Felt very true to size. I like that it is not too short - hits right below the knee. Has a slight empire waist that is very flattering and does not make you look pregnant! Great dress - I highly recommend!

I'm 5'2" about 125 lbs, 36DD, I ordered the 10P and this dress fits me perfectly. The band at the top falls smoothly UNDER my bust (not on top of it). There is no pulling or gapping at the underarm area. The dress is well fitting, slimming and incredibly comfortable. I was stunned. My husband loves it and I do too.

This is a great summer dress. The material is soft and stretchy so it doesn't give you a potato sack look. It is incredibly cool during the hot summer days. The length is just perfect- right at the knee, not above it!

I bought the dress in white. I am a 5ft 5in, 140lbs with pear shape the dress is very flattering. It falls just below the knee, which is a bit longer than I usually wear but looks good. It is great for work and going out for a casual dinner.
