I really wanted this dress. Unfortunately, the picture did not match what I received. The orange depicted on the web was subtle yet bright and the flower patterns as well. I opened the box and felt that the color was too pink-orange and the flowers were screaming. I am 5'5" and curvy, so I purchased a 14R. It felt a bit awkward at the sleeves and the belt did not cinched as prettily as the picture shown. Oh well, c'est la vie... there will be more dresses to be had.

This dress is beautiful. My only complaint, as others have stated before, is the belt is a bit wimpy. It's made of the same material as the dress which is not ideal belt material. If the belt were made of another material covered in the dress material it would make more sense. Otherwise, the dress is perfect. It makes me feel beautiful, yet modest.

I ordered the dress in the guava rose and it's such a beautiful color. A while back I had ordered a cashmere cardigan in the peach color and it looks great together. I always try to purchase clothes that are washable so this one fit my criteria. The belt isn't quite right so I pulled out my belt selection and found a metallic turquoise belt that jazzes it up.

This dress is made super well. Fits beautifully, but the length is too short. I am 5'8" and ordered the 4R because the 4L was out of stock. I was hoping it would be long enough but it wasn't. Hoping the 4L comes in stock because I would definitely buy it again!

Usually this kind of vintage-style dress is the most flattering cut for me. I'm 5'6", high-waisted, curvy, generally a size 6. The 6 fits, but the blouse part is very strangely cut: there's a lot of extra fabric in the armpit/side chest area but it's fairly fitted across the front of the bust, which makes me look twice as wide as I am. Maybe on a woman with really square shoulders that extra fabric is in the right place and the fit is okay?
But I wouldn't recommend this dress for anyone who finds real 40s and 50s dresses flattering--this seems like it might have that cut, but it doesn't.
