Got this in orange and I think it is definitely a lighter shade than appears in the picture. Very bright and cheerful. Fabric has stretch which makes it very comfortable. Deceptively fitted (as the model makes it look like a shift dress) and may cling around mid-section but control top nylons help keep the look flattering on me.

I think this will be great for work. It's a heavy, stretchy knit that is very comfortable. I'm 5'9" and the 10L fits great. My only concerned is that the navy looks like it might look faded after a while.

Just got the orange color and love it! This is my first orange dress ever and I was a little weary to order it, but it looks fabulous! Not in your face orange, just fun! However, I would recommend to be aware of the short length. I am 5'7'', 122 lbs and the 4L hits right above the knee. Would not be comfortable with the regular length. The thicker fabric is actually a plus since it doesn't wrinkle and makes your figure look great!

This is a great dress. It can be dressed up or down and the fabric is wonderful. I found it ran very big in the hips and waist and had it tailored but it is such a nice product it was worth the effort and expense. I hope we see it again next year in more colors.

I bought this dress in navy and orange. They look great and are very comfortable.

I am tall and lean, with a little tummy - and the 6L fit perfectly. It hugs my figure, but not to the point that my tummy shows. It hits lower than shown on the model - right below my knee. The material is not thin - but it is so soft and comfortable. I think it will be the perfect weight inside AC blasting offices, and will breathe well at humid outdoor events. I have the orange, and ordered the navy as well. Will wear it with pearls and the Sixties Slingbacks to a graduation, and with a silk scarf to luncheons. Thanks Boden!

This dress is a sheer delight. I love the cheery orange color and the retro style. I wore it to work and received many compliments. One tiny detail that only the wearer will notice is the orange and white polka dot fabric across the back placket--just one of those special little Boden details that shows their attention to their garments. The deep pockets are another welcome detail. I am 5'1", 126 lbs., bra size 34A, but never buy a petite in Boden. A 6 regular tends to work well for me, and I didn't have a problem with this dress fitting too short, as some of the other reviewers did. I did need to wear a slip under the dress to hide my panty line and smooth out my tummy. The dress is comfortable and a great addition to my work and special event wardrobe. This is another versatile, beautifully-designed, well-made garment from Boden.

Hi, The color was not as rich as I expected. I wear a Boden 8 and this dress was too small. If you have any fullness in your torso then your bra and underwear will show unless you order a size bigger. It looks comfy if you are thin.
