I love this dress. I was tempted to buy it for a long time and I'm so happy I finally pulled the trigger. The dress is very comfortable and looks great. I wear this dress to work but I have also dressed it up with different accessories to wear to evening work functions. The dress is very stretchy so if you're between sizes like me, I would opt for the smaller size.

A beautiful, but eminently practical dress. A lovely weight and drape to the knit, and the cut is extremely flattering - great a-line. I'm 5'11" so the long works perfectly. Maybe the name influenced me, but it feels very Parisian in all the best ways - chic, tailored, feminine. Makes me happy just to see it in my closet!

I love the pattern -- so festive and flattering! But I returned the dress because the fabric felt like it would lose its shape easily. I could be wrong, this was just a guess, but I've owned clothes in the past that were made of a similar material, and they lost their shape very quickly.

I had been wanting to get this dress for months and finally took the plunge. It is a beautiful dress. The v-neck and elbow length sleeves were all heavenly. It looked perfect through the waist and all the way down....except, it ended about 2 inches too high. The dress is beautiful and classic, and the full skirt just doesn't look right above my knees. It isn't a modesty issue, just a final look issue. With the style it would have been perfect if it hit at the knee. I am between sizes and got an 8R, and I am between 5'4" and 5'5", so not tall. I would have reordered in a 6L, but they were out.
Too bad......It was so close to perfect.

I wanted this dress to work out since I first saw it, but alas, the fit does not flatter my hourglass shape. I wear a 10 but this felt too big and the higher waist made it less shapely.

I love this dress more than anything else in my wardrobe. It is fabulous! I get compliments from everyone I meet when I wear it. It makes me feel like a movie star. I bought a second Amelie dress in different color combination. Thumbs WAY up!
