I thought this dress looked fantastic in all the photos with a retro yet hip feeling to it, but it did not work for me. I felt older in it, not sure why, so reluctantly sent it back. The fabric and detailing is beautiful, and I'm sure it looks great on a lot of others.

I prefer dresses that have a bit of their own shape and construction and this dress does the trick. The color and the details on the neckline are classy, whcih raise the standard of the dress a bit.

The site is wonderful about exchanges. I ordered one size too big, easily mailed it back, and the next one came quickly and fits perfectly!

This is a beautiful dress, glamorous and sophisticated. The fabric is a rich cotton sateen, so can carry off formal and less-formal occasions. The pink is a very rich and subtle dark fuschia. The usual excellent Boden quality abounds here. Several reviews mentioned the extra fabric in the top; I thought this might mean it could accommodate my busty figure. Unfortunately, this was not the case for me, it looked bulky around the chest, and I had to send it back. A similarly-cut dress, the crochet one, fit perfectly, so perhaps the extra fabric was the culprit here. I am considering re-ordering it in a larger size and having it tailored, I liked it so much.

This is a pretty dress but unfortunately didn't fit me, so it went back. I ordered a 6 (usual Boden size) and it fit well on top but was very poofy / bulky / big on the bottom. (Disclaimer - I have narrow hips compared to my top, so it may be a proportion problem on my end, although I do wear a 6 pants in Boden too.) The detail by the neck is pretty and the purple / magenta color I ordered is gorgeous.

I needed a dress for a wedding and ordered this dress in two colors. The dress would have been perfect if not for those stomach pleats. Unless you have a flat stomach, this dress is not for you.

This is another great dress from Boden. The fit is flattering, classic and elegant and feminine. The sequins at the neck give it a little bit of flair and save me the trouble of picking out a necklace. All in all, a lovely dress. I got this in Foxglove and it's a very pretty dark fuchsia.

This dress is beautiful, but quite has quite a long torso. I am a petite size 2, and the regular size fit quite funny. It would also be better in a more flowing material.

I bought this dress to update my wardrobe. Haven't worn it yet, but it fits perfectly and is a real knock-out!

This dress fits well and is great for a summer occasion where you need to be a little bit dressed up. The only problem with it is that the foxglove color which looks like a dark pink online is actually a dark plum/purple color. It's a very pretty color but not pink.
