I am a small A cup size and this dress fit everywhere except the chest. It was too big. I loved the dress but the top made me look weird. If I could have filled it out - it would have been really nice.

Very cute style, can easily be dressed up or down. I'm 5'6, 128lbs, 34B, pear shaped. I bought this in 4 long because I love below the knee dresses. I initially bought the size 6 but found it too loose especially in the bodice. The 4 fits just right with room to move, only wish it had a tiny bit of stretch.

Another item that I really liked, but unfortunately did not fit. I am usually a 10 or 12--I ordered the 12 and it was way too big except in the shoulders! I considered ordering a 10, but in the end, I decided not to because I just knew the shoulders would be so tight--even if the rest of it fit well.

On my first attempt, I sized down based on the reviews and that was not the right choice. I'm a solid size 6 in Boden (size 4 only when the reviews say the item is definitely oversized) and this fit exactly right in a size 6 -- not a lot of wiggle room. I'm much fuller on top than around the hips and I found this dress to be a perfect fit. It's cut high enough to not worry when you bend down and I think the gathering in the front is flattering to a fuller chest. It seems relatively wrinkle-resistant when wearing it and the detailed touches are very well-made.

This is a beautiful, very flattering dress. It fits true to size. I am 5'7", 135 lbs with an athletic built and size 4L fits like utter perfection, hitting me right at the knees. (4R hit me right above the knees and the effect was not as flattering.) It has a stunning V-neckline, which fits like a glove; a timeless A-line silhouette with a soft inner lining; and the playful blue patterns are accentuated by the orange band about an inch and a half above the waist. The structured short sleeves make it a bit uncomfortable to raise your arms, but it can be done should the occasion arise. And on top of all of that, the quality and durability is of the highest order. It really doesn't get much better than this!

I was excited to get the dress and due to the reviews, photos, and dress measurements, I opted for a larger size (10) over smaller (8). Needless to say it is a bit roomy without being baggy.

I am hoping a couple of washes will "tighten" it up. In any case, the fit is appropriate for moving around work and summer barbecue bingeing!

I bought the Pewter because I own too many blue dresses, and it is a nice shade of khaki brown with yellowish green accents on the bottom. Bought the dress on sale so that has affected my views as a first timer here!

This was the first time I've ordered a Boden dress. This is one of 3 I received. I went by the measurements online and ordered a 12 but the dress is too big, so I am returning for a 10.

Great casual dress. Simple design with nice two patterns that separates top and bottom.
The bust part however is a bit large and it doesn't fit snug enough for my petite figure. I am 5'1" and 100 lbs and ordered 2P.
I was tempted to keep the dress because it's just simply great with high quality material just like any other Boden's dresses. But unfortunately it has to go back since the dress feels a bit sloppy on me.

I was quite surprised by this dress – I'm a 34D and it's a pleasure not to be poured into the top part of the dress. This may be a real con to some gals, since I still have plenty of room to spare up there (I ordered an 8R) and could have possibly sized down…but it is all cotton and my hope is that it shrinks just a tad after washing. There is some room in the waist, but it nips in enough that there is some real waist definition and it hits at my actual waist. I have a casual dress job, so this is going to be great with a cardi and flats during the summer and with boots in the fall.

Received the dress about a week ago, have not worn it out yet, but am very pleased with the cute style (bought the red, which is more like a light red or rose color)! Also, fits well and can be worn to work, out on the town, or really any occasion!
