I thought this would be a great dress to layer over pants if it happened to be A-line. I ordered it to see how it would fit in both a tall size and in a regular size. Both were too big for me in the bust and shoulders. I'm 6'1" tall, 135 pounds. The size 10 bust and shoulders of the dress was too big. It fit OK on my 41" hips (bust 36") but I can guess the size 8 would be too small to take reasonable steps. I might not be the best reviewer since my shirt size is so much smaller than my pants/skirt size. With a larger bust and shoulders, I think the dress would fit someone else well and its a really nicely designed and comfortable dress.

I have 3 of these linen dresses, one from each year from the past 3 years....still love the first one I bought as much as I love this one. The fit is perfect, always get many compliments on Boden fabrics....I always dry clean mine, I guess you could wash it, but the linen behaves so much better if you dry clean it. Covers up any and all imperfections through the middle....the "mummy tummy" is virtually non-existant in this tunic!

I really wanted to like this tunic. The colors and style look just like the model, but the fabric is very flimsy. Fabric reminds me of 100 thread count sheets -- thin and scratchy. Also, dress felt tight across the bust and shoulders. Not loose like a tunic. I have several dresses from Boden and this is not one of the better ones. I ordered my standard 8R in yellow, but will end up sending this one back.

I have never had so many compliments on an outfit as I have while wearing this dress. Most compliments were from men who said the dress is simply perfect. It is feminine, pretty, comfortable, and stylish...I have bought 3 of the same style in different prints/colors. Outstanding purchase!!

I wear this dress to work. Super comfortable. Fabric is light, but perfect for the warm summers in SC. Size was perfect. LOVE!

I just bought my third Casual Tunic Dress; I own 2 other prints from 2 previous seasons. These dresses have become my go-to staples for super easy, all-weather style. I've worn them in the fall with tall boots or in the summer with strappy sandals. To work, out to dinner, or for a nice day out (not, say, to the mall or running errands). I always get compliments on them.

The pineapple print is so light and summery I feel like I can only wear it on very sunny days, but it's great for that--covers up from the sun a bit, but still light weight and comfortable. With high heeled sandals and white leggings, it feels very dressed up. With canvas sneaks it feels good and casual. This color is definitely see through-match your underwear to your skin or it shows through. Note on size-It feels larger on the bottom than top. I am 5'4", 122, and the 6R fits perfectly in shoulders and chest but is a bit roomy at the waist. Still looks flattering though.

Love the patterns and the quality is good. Had hoped to wear as a dress but the size 6 is wee bit too short for any bending over and I'm 5'4". Perhaps order a long if you plan to wear as a dress.

I bought this to wear to a rehearsal dinner, and I love it! It's comfy, comes in long, and is really flattering. I tend to get one dress per summer from Boden that I wear and wear and wear, and this is it.

Love this for a pretty dress that can be dressed up or down. The yellow is not
Too bright. The size fits well .. I'm tall 5'10 and got a 4 long and its still above the knee. It's a bit sheer but I don't think see thru.
