we got the broderie shirts and shorts. Shorts are true winners. these shirts are a mixed bag: my 10 year old LOVES hers (in green), and my 13-year old is gonna return hers (in red): too frilly, tight around arms (she is a swimmer).

Overall this shirt is cute, and the design it ok but I would not recommend it. First of all this shirt is extremely itchy, I bought it for my daughter and after wearing this shirt for a day she decided not to wear it again. The shirt is also very baggy. If you do not mind wearing an itchy shirt and you like your shirts very baggy then you should definitely buy it.

I bought this for my daughter, 13, and she loved it, but the 13-14 was way to big for her at 5'3 and 98 lbs. She has a small frame, but I bought the 13-14 because I didn't want the top to be too short. Bad idea. It looked 2-3 sizes too big. The fabric was beautiful and the design was great--stylish, not trashy (I can't be the only one that notices how trampy girls styles have become, but thankfully not Boden's). However, my daughter was bothered by the fact that the lining was only in front, so I'll be returning it rather than exchanging it for a smaller size.

This is a beautiful shirt. The quality, like all Boden products, is superb. My only complaint is the lining is only in the front (I looked quickly so maybe I missed the back lining)---so my 7 year old will have to wear an undershirt with it to school.
