My daughter wears a size 14. I normally buy a size larger in bathing suits. I bought a 15/16 and found out it was much to big in the bottom.. The tops were fine, despite her thin frame. I reordered the 13/14. Cute suits, I bought three.

We bought these bottoms to match the bandeau top. the top fit well but the bottoms were a disaster. My daugher is 5'5" and 100lbs and the 13-14y top were a perfect fit but the bottoms managed to be too small and loose at the same time. her backside was showing no matter how we tried to arrange them and they were bagging. weird! going back. she wants to keep the top so we will be searching for a solid to match it somewhere....

Age appropriate and very cute!

I bought these bottoms in two prints for my 12 year-old to wear with the tankini top. I cannot express enough how HORRIBLE the fit and cut are. The elastic around the leg openings was too loose, but the cut on the back was too small. About an extra 1-2 inches of my daughter's rear end was hanging out of the bottoms. She is an avarage sized girl and has always been true-to-size in everything she wears. The cut on the bottoms was simply too skimpy for her. Going up a size would not have helped because the elastic was so loose. So... we had to return two bottoms and the two matching tops because these bottoms were designed for swimsuit models and not for girls who are trying to be somewhat modest and cute. So disappointing!

Review title says it all- my 13 yr old thought it didn't cover enough of her bottom, which is usually what the parent says!
