Age appropriate and very cute!

I bought these bottoms in two prints for my 12 year-old to wear with the tankini top. I cannot express enough how HORRIBLE the fit and cut are. The elastic around the leg openings was too loose, but the cut on the back was too small. About an extra 1-2 inches of my daughter's rear end was hanging out of the bottoms. She is an avarage sized girl and has always been true-to-size in everything she wears. The cut on the bottoms was simply too skimpy for her. Going up a size would not have helped because the elastic was so loose. So... we had to return two bottoms and the two matching tops because these bottoms were designed for swimsuit models and not for girls who are trying to be somewhat modest and cute. So disappointing!

Review title says it all- my 13 yr old thought it didn't cover enough of her bottom, which is usually what the parent says!

great suit for the summer

My 13 year old who is slim and fashion conscious felt that this suit bottom did not give her enough rear coverage.

These swim bottoms were purchased for my 12 year old daughter. She did not like the cut of the bottoms at all. She felt (as did I) that the cut across the "cheeks" was much too high. She is quite long and slim. The bottoms were not at all tight. A larger size would not help, as the elastic was already standing away from her skin. Any larger and the bottoms would not stay on during a swim! The cut did not provide enough fabric to allow for some modesty. There was no gathering at all of the fabric along the back. She could tell the cut was dramatic when she saw so much of her bikini panties showing from beneath the swim bottoms when she tried the swim bottoms on for fit.

The fabric is very nice. The fabric weight is perfect and stitching done well. We ordered the dark purple dot. The look is very fun. Even so, we will be sending these back, given she would not be comfortable at the pool with these minimal cut swim bottoms.

Im 12,and I LOVE the grape little lovebirds swimsuit.I ordered the bikini bottoms,and matching bandeau bikini top.This swim suit is super comfy and looks really cute.The colors are very vibrant.I wasn't sure what size so I ordered 2 sizes,but kept the bigger one.This is my favorite swim suit.

Very cute suit, great cut and coverage, awesome print and fabric quality. Little big for my slender little one, but I'm just taking them in a bit on the sides; easy fix!

Darling suit but could use a little more material in the behind!!
