These are nice, well-made shorts, but Boden, the sizing is so confusing! I measured my child, I even called to get advice, and the shorts were still too large (by a lot). I'm just glad you still had the ones I wanted in stock so that I could exchange them.

I bought these in a size 15-16 for my 11yo,she is 5ft 3in 120lbs, they fit her perfect and I am so glad to see her in something other than denim shorts. I have purchased all of the solid colors and the floral,they are all adorable. They wear and wash well and are comfortable on. They are true to size for us,she wears 15-16 in all johnnie b this summer.

I had been looking for age appropriate shorts for my athletically built 9 yr old daughter, and I will look no further! She loves these shorts - we purchased the emerald color (beautiful!) and I'm ready to buy a pair in each color! She is 56 inches tall and 85 pounds, and I purchased the 26. They are a little big in the waist but my daughter put a skinny, sparkly belt with them and the look is adorable. She said that they are soft, cute and fit well, and she is hard to please!

We have several pairs of these. They are cute and fit well. My 10-year-old wears a girl's size 12 in other brands, and a size 24 fits well in these. So cute!

These shorts are precious and so well made. Love the color and material but they are just too big. I ordered based on sizing and am exchanging for smaller size. Hope they arrive in time for the 4Th.

Size 30 worked well for muscular, 130 lb middle schooler. Size 28 was too tight around her thighs. She loves them.
