My daughter wore it three days in a row! She was glad to still fit in something Boden. She wore Mini Boden since she was 5/6 years old. Now that she is 13 with a very athletic muscular built she has a difficult time fitting into Johnnie B, the styling and cut are for very slender kids. The flouncy skort is a style I have purchased for her annually, she still wears one we bought 3yrs ago. Needless to say she was delighted to fit into this one. I ordered a few pairs of shorts earlier but had to send them all back as even the largest size were snug at the hips but too large at the waist.
Luckily my son can still wear mini boden, he refuses to wear anything but Bodin board shorts and cargos all summer long including spring and fall.

Will wear this skirt as everyday skirt as well as to parties

This skort is perfect, year round, in the classroom and on the playground. It can also, easily, be "dressed up" for a party occasion.
It is the mini Boden equivalent of the bbd (basic black dress) - a must for any girl's wardrobe.

I bought this skort in navy and green for my granddaughter. The navy is on backorder, but the green arrived and it is just great. So cute. My granddaughter does not like pants or shorts but loves skirts and dresses. This is just perfect.

This skort looks nice on my 14-year-old. The length is just right and it looks like it will wear well.

Very practical for every day use, great for summer even for school, the length is just fine, no too short, I got size 8 for my 7 year old, it has room to grow with her I just adjust the waist cords for her 23" waist, I haven't washed yet but as always i expect Boden quality, so probably she will be using this skirts 2 summers. We got the three colors, they are very nice , a little less bright that pictures shows, which I think is the color tendencies on fashion.
They look great with any tank or a t-shirt.
