We wanted to try the Johnnie B styles this year as my daughter is now 8 years old. She is tall but thin --- unfortunately, the shorts and skirts from Johnnie B are way too big in the waist for her! There are similar style Mini Boden jersey shorts in the size 8 that fit her perfectly.

There were two issues: 1) My daughter just turned 8. The size 9/10 JUST fits her. I was hoping it would be a little larger. 2) Most of my order shipped from England (versus PA.) ??

My ten-year-old was very pleased with these, as she said the style is "very popular" in her school. Although we bought just the plain grey shorts (with the matching blue pocket tee), they are much better constructed than similar items from cheaper chain stores. Simple, but worth it.

UGH!!!! JB just does not work for us! I was hoping that with the functional drawstring we might actually be able to wear these but NO LUCK AGAIN!! Please bring back the large mini sizes in some of the styles! Don't know what we are going to do. She is 11 long legged, skinny minnie with no hips or but. JB will NOT FIT HER!!!! We need some options or we will soon have to find another place to shop for pants and shorts for her. We've shopped with you pretty much exclusively for her bottoms since she was 4!!!! They just fit her and we have always loved the fit, style and durability of your stuff! But we have been forced into JB but the styles are not made to fit her! We have to have an adjustable waist or somehting!
