These are simply great shorts. I'd get a size bigger than your chid seems to need as they are short shorts. They last a long time but they fade pretty quickly. They are so comfortable and cute.

UGH!!!! JB just does not work for us! I was hoping that with the functional drawstring we might actually be able to wear these but NO LUCK AGAIN!! Please bring back the large mini sizes in some of the styles! Don't know what we are going to do. She is 11 long legged, skinny minnie with no hips or but. JB will NOT FIT HER!!!! We need some options or we will soon have to find another place to shop for pants and shorts for her. We've shopped with you pretty much exclusively for her bottoms since she was 4!!!! They just fit her and we have always loved the fit, style and durability of your stuff! But we have been forced into JB but the styles are not made to fit her! We have to have an adjustable waist or somehting!

Red is so cheerful. I bought an 11-12 for my almost 12 year old who is 80ish pounds and a 3 or 4 inches under 5'. Had to send them back for a larger size. There was no room for growth and I would like them to last for a little while. Great material and design.

These shorts are my 11 year old daughter's favorites! We have bought them for several years now, and this year I got every color. She lives in these all summer. We have bought similar styles at other stores, and while they are comfy, none of them holds up to long-wear like Boden's. When she outgrows them, they are still in great shape and get passed down to her younger cousin! Cute to boot!

Previously bought these for my daughter when she was 7 or 8 and she still wears them now as pajamas as they are too small to wear in public. Got these in the mail and she is thrilled to have a new pair that are the same quality and comfiness as the last pair. These shorts are well made and go from beach to hiking and weekends.

These shorts are the best shorts for just running around and getting messy in. They may have not the most beautiful design but who cares if you're having fun. They are comfortable, sensible, and they make any form of physical activity possible.
