Going to exchange it for smaller size, but that may be function of sizing chart.

Bought these for my 11 year old daughter. Loved them once we got the right size. Initially bought 2 sizes bigger given the sizing chart. She laughed that they would fit me. Returned for a size 25(she wears a 12-14-thin but curvy) and they fit great . Will be perfect for town sailing this summer.

Just what I was looking for and worth the wait (backordered for 9 weeks). My 12 yr old will be wearing to sailing camp over her swimsuit. Great for water sports..quick dry a must. I took the advice of one reviewer and went down a size. My daughter wears mostlly 11-12 yr sizes in Boden. I ordered a 24 and it fits her perfectly. Thought about ordering a 26 but now I know it would have been too large. Shorts look like they will hold up to a summer of sliding across boat decks etc. Time will tell.

although these board shorts are very cute, it was awkward to get on with the combination of the velcro and tie at the waist

I purchased the size 30 (which says 9-10 year old and 23-24 1/2 inch waist) for my 11 year old. She is slender and tall, but these were way over sized and weren't even close to the measurements. I (her mom) could fit into them (and thought about keeping them, but too short). They are a very cute pattern and she likes them, so going to try for the exchange to a smaller size (probably the 26).

The shorts work well as a bathing suit or as a pair of shorts. I wear them all the time!

The shorts are adorable. I wish I had read the description more closely, I thought they had bikini bottoms sewn into the short. They are just shorts, no bikini bottems sewn in. You will need to order separate bottoms to wear under shorts.

Cute shorts for summer swim/beach play. I originally ordered the 24 for my 9 year old who wears 9-10 Mini Boden, but they were huge. Returned for the 22. Fun bright pink color - it was a hit with my daughter.

Loved these shorts however we had to return due to sizing.....I would not say they ran small but they were too small for girl....
