My mom and I saw these shoes in the johnnieb catalogue a while back, and we thought they looked neat. When they went on sale a little while back, I ordered them and spent the next five days anxiously checking the front porch for a package. When they arrived, I put them on and immediately fell in love. The shoes are fantastically well-made, and the colors and everything are true to the pictures. The laces are easy to handle. The soles are excellent, the bottoms have just the right amount of grippiness, and the shoes themselves are well padded---just enough to be cushy without making my feet hot. They fit perfectly, even with my uniquely-proportioned feet, and they work with lots of different outfits. They pair nicely with jeans and can also be used to add a bit of fun to a dressier skirt or dress. They're sturdy, durable shoes that I can already tell will last me a while. I would recommend them to anyone.

The shoes may be to hot for summer weather no ventilation.

I bought the size 41 for my daughter, who is a US women size 8.5. They were HUGE! I'm returning for the size 40. Sizing issue aside, these sneakers are adorable. My daughter got so many compliments from her middle school peers when she wore them to school. Highly recommended.
