These shoes are so classic, gotta love them. The red is just right - deep but not too bright. I ordered them for myself because the style suits me. They are a bit narrow but might be right for a girl, as they were intended. The leather is not super soft but I think it will give with some wearing.

I ordered these as a less expensive alternative to the women's loafers, and I think they are a very nice option if you are on a budget. While the soles are not leather like the women's, the rest of the shoe is and appears to be good quality. I am a 7.5 to 8, and I find I seem to take a 39 in most of Boden's women's shoes, but a 38 in JohnnieB. Even in the 38, these were a touch long. However, they are a narrow shoe out of the box, although I anticipate some stretching. I wore them without socks the first day, and no blisters, though a little rubbing at the heel. Got these in the brown, and I foresee them being a really versatile, classic option for me.

I bought these shoes in Red size 36 for my 10-year old. She is normally around a US size 4 and these are a little too big on her now. They are so great that we are keeping them and just waiting until they fit.

The Red is a tomato-y red and very rich. The width is average (not terribly slim but not wide). They seem to run a little long. I am very please to see that the sole of the shoe is substantial. I have bought Boden shoes in the past and had to get them resoled fairly quickly. These seem to be a higher quality though (good job Boden!).

This a great shoe. Have some fun and order the Red-it is beautiful!

Believe the other reviewers - these run one size big. I ALWAYS wear a 36 and had to reorder 35's. Such cute shoes! Look great with straight leg jeans or skirts. For US sizes I wear a 4 or 4.5 girls or 5.5 womens

Wanted the adult ones then saw these for [$]less! Since they are "children's" sizes, you just need to know your metric size. Love the red ones, just ordered the brown.

the leather is so soft and these shoes are very well made. I got these when they are on sale otherwise I wouldn't have considered. I normally wears US size 7, and I ordered 38 which is too big. so I am exchanging them with 37.
