we got 2 of these in different patterns one for each of my girls we bought one size bigger which i would recommend for older kids mine or 5 and 8. they will be a bit longer and roomier. they are a little hard to get on over the wet head. but i think it is just that they are wet and this is a new thing for them. They are thick and very well made i couldn't believe how well! very true to boden standards! the patterns are great not too bright unlike the trend right now! would recommend for sure! they will last as long as they fit and can be passed down multiple times they are that well made!

This will be perfect for my daughter to throw on after a swim or on one of the more cool beach days we tend to get. The fit is a little more "relaxed" and does seem to run bigger and longer than other cover ups I've bought her from Boden. The arms are very long, but I will roll them up and hopefully she can wear the dress for 2 years in a row. It will serve the purpose of keeping her warm rather than just being a cover up for "looks" over a swimsuit. My daughter thought it was comfortable and said she couldn't wait to wear her "towel" at the beach! And the hood is an added bonus. Will definitely help keep the post swim chill away!

The print is super cute and the toweling is thick and thirsty. I do wish this buttoned up the front or zipped as pulling over a wet child's head is not the easiest.

This item is great because it has long sleeves and fabric is very thick. Sometimes when you walk into an air conditioned building after swimming it gets very chilly. With this dress being comfortable but stylish (overall towel dress), my daughters will be dry and warm. I would want one for myself.

I bought this for early morning Saturday swim meets in WI, which can be rather chilly. Once the kids get out of the pool, the shivering begins. This is perfect! It's a piece of clothing that acts as not only a comfy hoodie, but also a towel!

This material is much thinner and not as fluffy or soft as last years style. Really liked last years, this year not so much. Had I have felt this in a store I would not have bought. Disapointed with the cheaper material !

This is great at the beach. We had a slightly different style previously and it got so many uses. When I saw this one on sale, I snapped it up!

A confortable, generous cut without being baggy. White stripes are more off-white than pictured.

This is a great, warm cover-up for the after swim chills. Sizes fit true.
