My eight-year-old daughter loves these shorts. I usually buy one pair of these for her every summer, and this year she proclaimed them to be her favorite and has requested more. We got the rainbow color, which she loves. They are comfortable and fit well. As an added bonus, they are durable and her younger sister will definitely be able to wear them in a few years as well.

We got the dark blue with white/red/yellow which looks fun with the red sleeveless ruffle t-shirt. But, as others have said, these aren't great quality--the terry cloth is thin and looks a bit worn at the edges. I also wish they were longer. Not sure if we'll keep.

We have always loved these shorts, but this year they seem a little on the thin side. You can see the white fabric showing through the terry loops. I haven't washed them yet, but I'm hoping that will fluff them up a little. In the past they were thicker and better quality.
