I bought these shorts for my 7yr old daughter who is thin and long. It is difficult to find shorts an appropriate length that are not too wide for her small frame. These fit her almost perfectly w/the adjustable waist! Love the colors and the quality that Mini Boden offers. These shorts will be perfect for school! I bought her the sz6 and she's 44lbs and 49in tall. You might have to buy up a size if your child is thicker. These are more narrow than the other pair I bought from here.

We have these shorts in both the blue and yellow for my 7 year old daughter. The sizing is perfect. We loved the blue and she really liked how they fit so we just ordered the yellow. Both colors are bright and perfect for spring summer. The details on the side of the bottom leg hem make it pretty. They are long enough for her to wear to school but short enough that she stays cool. She absolutely loves them! They will be our staple summer shorts!

Cute denim shorts with a pretty flowery lining around the waste and at the seams on the roll-up part. My daughter loves them. My husband & I appreciate that they are not super short like so many out there...
We got the size 7y for my average-sized 6 year old. They're a bit big but work just fine with the adjustable waste, and we're glad they have a little room to grow as it's only April! My daughter loves them.

My daughter has previously only wanted to wear elastic waist pants. But she fell in love with these! I love that the waist is adjustable so I was able to go up a size to get more use out of them.

Bottom line - these are GREAT shorts! Order them if your girls are petite.

I ordered sizes 9 and 10 for my 6 and 8-yr-old girls. They are too small. I wish they offered larger sizes because these shorts are terrific. The fabric is substantial. The length is modest.

Note - my girls are tall for their age but not overweight. not sure why they can't fit into Mini Boden anymore. ;(
