My 6 year old daughter loves these swim shorts and the matching swim shirt. They look great and will be great for the beach. The only downside is that they do not have a liner inside, so she will likely have to wear them over a swim suit

Great with the matching suit. I bought the size 8 for my skinny 9 year-old and they fit fine but I did find the matching suit a little small (not long enough) in 9/10. Whish there were more shorts to choose from that matched other tops.

Adorable swim shorts for my 5 year old. The floral design is beautiful with a lot of color. My daughter is crazy about them. The only thing I wish they had was a liner on the inside otherwise they are perfect!

My 5-year old daughter looks great in these shorts, although had to size up quite a bit to 7. Hard to find cute shorts for girls, so we are opting to use these more for shorts than swim wear since the material is thin and breathable. Hoping that if my daughter gets water on them, they will dry fast too.

We ordered the shorts in the color, Sea Blue Flower Power, and they seem extremely well-made and durable, not to mention adorable! My daughter is a skinny and tall 8-year old and the size 7s were great. This will be her first pair of surf shorts. We typically get either bathing suits or swim shorts with built-in bikini liners, so we will see if we get a lot of use out of these this summer.

I ordered the size 5 and checked measurements, but the shorts are way too small on my average 5 year old. Also, the item is not lined, so it doesn't provide enough coverage to be a true swim short - I guess some might pair it with bikini bottoms, but that sounds cumbersome and uncomfortable to me. It's going back. Cute fabric, however!

I bought these shorts to wear with the matching swimsuit. It isn't swim season here in New England yet, but my girls are both wearing these shorts--it turns out they work as just plain shorts, too. They fit a bit better than regular plain-waisted shorts, and they look stylish to boot. Nice print, we have the blue. Fits both my 7 AND 8 year-olds.

Bought for my nine year old (54 inches tall, 66 pounds). She has an athletic build - 23.5 inch waist, 27 inch hips/glutes, and muscular quads. The size ten was too tight all over, despite measurements indicating a size 10 would fit on 30 inch hips.

The garment seemed well made and the fabric was bright and cheerful. It had an adjustable waistband and a working zipper (not just a decorative 'fly' stitched on). But, the shorts were unlined, which would add an extra layer soggy weight for swimming (bikini bottoms).

Much more stylish than the other board shorts I could find.
