Really cute shorts, true to size, extremely well made and stylish. My daughter is height-weight proportionate, on the lean but athletic side. The way the bottom cuff of the shorts is sewn caused the legs of the shorts to bunch up between her legs and kind of bag in the front; with the volume from the pleats, it was kind of too much. If your child has thighs that are on the thin side, these shorts are adorable - I love the print version. Wish they came in my size!

For my seven year old, I purchased the print & the blue. They're both great & work really well with tank tops. My only complaint is that she felt they were a little on the mature side for her age. Other than that - comfy shorts she can dress up or down. Cute with crocs or sandals!

We love these shorts! The print is adorable! They wash well and look fantastic on our nearly 9 year old daughter. We loved them so much that we ordered the blue and tan shorts, too! We ordered a Johnny B tee shirt to pair with them and they look fantastic!

I love these shorts for my petite 9 year old daughter. Not too short and can be dressed up or down. The size 8 fit her perfect, which is what she wears in other Boden bottoms. the only downside is the cuffs need a little touch up with the iron after coming out of dryer...worth it for the cute styling :)

I bought these shorts in three different colors for my daughter, I love them so much. They are perfect for the warm weather. It seems every other pair of shorts or pants I have bought for her is cut so low in the back, that even if they are tight around her waist, they show an inappropriate amount of skin when she sits down. These are age appropriate and adorable.
