I bought these in size 8 for my 8-year-old daughter who is 54" tall and weighs 56 lbs. Because these are shorts, I didn't feel the need to buy a bigger size to make sure they're long enough. They fit great and are super cute. The length will be good for short or tall children, I think. On my daughter, they're like board shorts. On a shorter girl, they might look like very cropped capris. Either way, cute.

these pants are streachy and wonderful which is what i like about it. i am 7.

I'm writing on behalf of my 7 year old daughter, who is very fashion conscious and loves these pants. I haven't washed them yet so I can't comment on that, but they have a great fit and seem very comfortable and versitile. Quality seems very high.

These are really cute summer pants. They are made from heavier material than I expected but are still good in hot weather.

My daughter needed some less crazy options. There were too many things going on with her clothes. I had a really hard time getting jeans that fit her. She would always complain they were too tight. So I turned to Boden. These little pants (ordered the denim) are perfection. They have such a nice soft adjustable band, but go with pretty much everything. It makes for much fewer clothing battles in the morning.

I like the elastic waist pants since my child has a bigger tummy still. Nice length

My daughter loves these pants. We bought three colors and love them all. The only design flaw my daughter pointed out is that the drawstring is too short for her to tie. We solved the issue by using drawstring cord locks.

This was weirdly short on my tall toddler. She's tall for her age and average for weight, and the trousers fit around the waist but were too short. By a lot. But not short enough to be capris. I'm not sure who this would fit. The red color is very cute, but the fit is really odd.

I bought this for my 2 years old daughter's playdate and schools. She doesn't like pants but this one was giving her enough room to play and conformatable. Of course i have to wash often becausei bought white but perfect pants for little one who doesn't like skinny.
